^They were interviewed during the press line backstage. No one else besides the couples and sometimes the judges do the press line.

I meant among Bach fans. What is the Jen Scheft effect (SWSNBN)?
@notguilty.. I just watched Ready for Love also (on Hulu) I like the show too and wish it wasn't cancelled. I think they could have tweaked it a bit and made something of it. That kiss between Ernesto and Shandi was hot. Normally, someone like Ben would be my type, but I am really liking Ernesto.
Me too - he seems sincere and a little unusual of a candidate for this type of show. Hot kiss indeed!

What a classless thing to say. His sense of entitlement has really gone to his head - the apps and drinks were more than generous - what a jerk. He needs to follow the old adage of "better to stay silent and let people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"
lovebites8727 wrote:umngirl wrote:Inside Catherine Giudici's 'Fantastic' Birthday Celebration with Sean Lowe
Sean Lowe had more to celebrate on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars than just a sexy, complimented rumba with partner, Peta Murgatroyd.
The former Bachelor star, 29, whisked away his fiancée, Catherine Giudici to a fancy dinner for her 27th birthday, immediately following the show.
"We had a big party with family and friends at Villa Blanca," Lowe told PEOPLE on Tuesday of former fellow DWTS castmate Lisa Vanderpump's trendy Beverly Hills eatery. "We had a good time celebrating. Peta was there and [pro dancer] Sharna [Burgess] was there."
Gushed Murgatroyd of the big night out: "It was fantastic. It was a beautiful dinner. We all were merry and wished her many, many happy things."
Even though Vanderpump joined the group at her restaurant, "I still had to pay for the food," Lowe said with a laugh. "She did give us free appetizers and drinks. I'll give her that. It would have been nice if she'd gotten my entrée. Come on, Lisa."
But one treat for Giudici that was entirely at the expense of Lowe was "a nice purse, which Peta helped me pick out," the hunky reality star said of the Louis Vuitton handbag he picked out as a gift.
To cap off the gifts and company, Giudici was especially impressed with Lowe's acclaimed routine from earlier in the night.
"She loved it," Lowe said. "She thought it was the best dance that we've had all season. She's always so supportive, though. Even if it was terrible, she'd say it was great."

Granting it's a joke. It is in bad taste. I really think he has no clue about women at all. Strange that Peta and Sean were interviewed when
it was her birthday. This tells me they(mags) are really not interested in what she has to say.

Wow, just wow.
They are treated to hundreds if not more $$ for free drinks and appetizers and that is not enough??
It's not easy to wait on a big group. They took up tables and wait staff not to mention time from the chefs to handle this party. I think it's expecting a bit much to think the entire thing should be comped. You want to do something nice for your honey--do something you can afford from your heart.
And furthermore, pick out your own freaking gift for her!!! You don't take your work partner/dance parter with you!! I give you a 1.

Why is getting another female's help with a gift a bad thing? I've helped pick out nearly a dozen of my roommates' birthday/Christmas/anniversary gifts. Their boyfriends appreciate the opinion because they want to pick out something their girl will like.
And before you think I'm just defending Sean, I'm honestly asking. Tons of guys I know do the same thing. I thought it was pretty common practice. Heck, I helped my dad pick out my step-mom's engagement ring and pretty much every gift he has gotten her since they got together.

I'm wondering that too umngirl,.
If Catherine s is dancing with Maks Chmerkovsky and she wants to gift Sean with a silk robe with matching silk boxers
I think its perfectly okay to ask Maks what Sean would like. I don't know men are just clueless.
If I am asked an opinion about what so and so's gf would like and I have no clue what she is about, I think I would politely
decline giving any opinion. Unless its a generic gift ofcourse.

My poor husband has to have a list of specific ideas or he's completely stressed. He could never pick something out himself. I don't think I have a single female friend who's husband or boyfriend either wants a list or get's help from another female to pick gifts out. I also thought it was really common.

My husband does the same thing. I also think it's quite common.

Sorry--I forgot to add---JMO. Bad me.
I don't like the idea of my spouse picking out something special for me per suggestion of another woman--my child's help ok, my sis' help, a close friend of mine's help ok--not another woman. I feel it's a reflection of her not me.
Again, JMOAA.

Not just the mags, but I've seen more TV interviews of Sean and Peta than him with Catherine. Poor Cat has been hidden for much of The Bach and then she's taken a back seat to Sean's dance partner too. Meanwhile I agree with umngirl about guys and gifts. I've been asked my opinion by male friends, acquaintances, and exes on what to get their wives, GFs, and moms.

My mom does that. She buys what she wants and then just tells her boyfriend what he got her. Whatever works.
