Thanks for asking. That's my volleyball team. We had our end of the season championships last weekend and we came out on top. I couldn't have asked for a better group of 10-12 year olds to coach. Smiley

Congrats! Coaching and nannying - you must have lots of patience

I'm developing lots of patience. The boys I nanny for are really, really well behaved so they make it easy. And I've been blessed that this J.O. team and my high school team from the fall were pretty fantastic.

'Dancing with the Stars' Latin Week - 'Bachelor' Sean Lowe Needs to Go

Here is a part of the article

Sean Can't Rumba Without Catherine

When Trista Sutter was on the show, I remember cringing because she talked about how she wouldn't perform sexy moves with anyone other than her husband. If that's the case, then why was she even on the show to begin with?
This week, Sean pulled a Trista by talking about how excruciatingly difficult it was to get into character for his steamy rumba because he didn't have romantic feelings for his partner, Peta Murgatroyd.
So Peta invited Catherine to attend rehearsal in order for Sean to practice the rumba on her. There are some things I wish I could un-see, like the boob graze between him and Catherine. Eek! After Sean and Peta performed, he kept talking about how he was picturing Catherine the entire time.
I couldn't help laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. In real life, Peta is supposed to be his platonic friend. But on the floor, she is his dance partner. As a performer, it's his job to get into character and to foster that connection with his partner in that moment.
Do we hear the married Kellie Pickler whining about how she can't shake her "bon bon" because she's not attracted to Derek Hough? Does being married stop Ingo Rademacher from performing a romantic rumba with Kym Johnson?
Sean, please give the viewers some credit. We know the difference between acting and real life.

Apologies To Nate Hartsock
During Sean's run as "The Bachelor," Desiree's brother, Nate, seemingly attacked Sean out of nowhere. He called Sean a "playboy" and said that he didn't "see a lot of reciprocation." Sure, he could have expressed himself more tactfully. But now I'm wondering if there was some truth to Nate's blunt but sharp comments.
All season on "Dancing," Sean seems to have a chip on his shoulder. It's like he's deliberately trying to prove that he's not a playboy. He makes a point to mention Catherine every chance he has, and he's going out of his way to prove that he doesn't have sexual chemistry with Peta.
It all reeks of overcompensation. You don't see the other contestants constantly talking about their significant others. If your relationship is really that strong, then you wouldn't have to try so hard to prove it to everyone.
I'm thinking that Nate's comments hit a little too close to home with Sean.
Nate, if you're reading this, I would like to apologize for every disparaging comment I ever made about you in my "Bachelor" recaps!

Well, she's not getting her wish. The amount of votes Andy has to get are staggering and next to impossible.

It's going to have a final 4 finale. So, Jacoby and the women will most likely be the finale. Boring.

what's this about kicking puppies? do tell....

On my phone so bringing the article over is above my skill level but check out the media section of the fan threads for an E news article.

Sean I believe has stated more than once he's been working hard leaning how to dance & he still sucks, that to me is NOT delusional on his part. Peta, was disappointed, she felt Sean delivered a great rumba. I believe he did improve. The judges from season to season did say, i.e" Jennifer Grey's 8 would be a 10 for Bristol Palin, translating to scoring depends on the competitor's dancing skills. W/ that being said I would not have been surprised ifPeta anticipated a 9 for Sean's rumba.

Clearly Sean can't please everybody, & he shouldn't have to. If it makes him happy to mention Catherine, well & good. He's in a new relationship. Am not gonna slam him for being in love & gushing about it.Personally, I find them both endearing , love them on the Bachelor, hope they make it despite so many ppl bashing them every chance they get. Wishing them their happiest!

I agree. Whether he mentions her too much or too little, he gets criticized either way... as they say, damned if you do and damned if you don't. I'll admit that I don't necessarily agree with everything he does but I also find it endearing when Sean talks about Catherine, as I would prefer that my man shout it from the top of his lungs his love for me! :sweetheart:

i think sean has expired his 15 minutes of fame and the backlash has definitely started. that is how it works. build 'em up and tear 'em down. the entertainment industry is not for the faint of heart. if sean really said any of those things in that E! article then he isn't being very savvy. of course he'd never kick a puppy, and he has 2 dogs, but it's a tasteless expression and one that is foolish to use in hollywood. he's not in dallas anymore. as for expecting 9s--get real. maybe people from past seasons have had grossly inflated scores but who he needs to compare himself to are the other current contestants, not past ones. he has worked hard and he can be proud of that, but he needs to be realistic about his dancing ability. i did initially like sean but i will be glad when he is out of the limelight.

I appreciate Sean's rumba. It really was an improvement from his other dances.
I just didn't appreciate the 'let's get Catherine, so he can tap his love for her and translate to Peta". It's just too contrived and corny.
It is for the Bachelor fans but it alienated a lot of people. I believe he will do good anyway without Catherine doing all that.
There is a time for everything. The audience is watching DWTS and not the Bachelor. I think its the production's idea anyway but its just felt too forced and artificial.

The problem with being The Bachelor is your backstory is really limited to you being engaged etc. Unlike other people in DWTS, they have
a bunch of things to talk about besides being engaged. They can be themselves, they can be about their sports, they can be about
their family. I guess they cannot talk about other things besides Sean being engaged. This is making him too one dimensional. So if its working for him its working against him too
