We all have opinions of what this couple should do or not do and it's fine to express them. The reality is that we don't know even 1/4 of the factors influencing SeanCat's decision. We don't know what is best for them. Sean said they decided to do DWTS as a couple and if Catherine wasn't on board, he wouldn't have done it. It would be safe to conclude he's still making decisions with that mentality. If Catherine had an issue with Peta and Sean going to NC, it won't be happening. The tabloids will continue with their trash no matter what and although SeanCat don't want to give them ammunition, they can't live their lives just trying to avoid the lies being published. If anything, this latest decision only underscores their desire and determination to do well next Monday.

IMO, this post should be pinned to this forum so it can be reviwed regularly ... the only thing I would add is that there's no reason to believe Sean and Catherine's decision-making abilities, the trust they have in each other, and the maturity level they've both displayed throughout TB, DWTS, and all of their public interactions have suddenly been discarded. Based on what I've seen from both, I'm going to continue trusting that they and they alone know how best to conduct themselves

Many times on DWTS, the pros travel with the celebrities to their work functions. It has been shown in the rehearsal footage many, many times over the years, it is not unusual at all.

I don't think Sean wants his fans to think he is going to take another day off and miss rehearsal. I think that's one of the main reasons Peta is going with him, well that and also the fact that he needs all the rehearsal he can get .

I have a feeling that DWTS will include coverage of this trip in the rehearsal package on Monday's show, so that we can all see that Sean worked hard this week. I wouldn't be surprised if Peta goes up on stage at his event, since she is his partner and what he is promoting right now is DWTS. After being in the bottom two last week, Sean can use all the votes he can get.

I don't see anything wrong with Peta going on the trip with Sean, as I am sure they will fit rehearsal in, every opportunity they get. Just because Sean and Peta leave the state of California, doesn't mean they are suddenly going to jump each other's bones . I really have so much respect and faith in Sean as a man of God, and a man of integrity. As for Peta, I don't see what some of you see. I don't think she has eyes for Sean at all. I truly think they have a good dance partnership and friendship, and that's how they both view it.

It's Catherine's birthday weekend. I have a feeling she is off spending it with family and friends, since she will want to be there Monday for Sean, and to spend her birthday with him that night. No matter how tired Sean is Monday night, I have a feeling that he will do something special for her birthday, and I can see Cat tweeting us a glimpse into whatever that is.

i feel bad for cat it is her birthday and i do not think sean has time for her in his busy schedule to me it is all about him she does everything for him support wise and i think she gives a lot more to the relationship than he does jmo

timfan, just a reminder that Cat's birthday is Monday (04/29), not this weekend ... thus, she can spend the weekend with her friends/family if she wants and still spend her birthday with Sean if that's what they decide to do; my suspicion is that Sean has something very nice planned for her (and I still say we may see her in a new pair of shoes at the show on Monday ... )

yes i know her birthday is monday but she will be spending it sitting in the audience supporting seanas usual it is not about her hopefully he will do something nice if he is not to tired

We often celebrate birthdays a day or two before or after the actually date. What's to say Sean doesn't have a spectacular party/dinner planned for Tuesday.

As far as Peta crushing on Sean, I don’t see it on their interactions during interviews. However, I do believe that she admires him as an individual. And if perchance she is crushing on him, Sean seems to be oblivious to it based on their interviews. I think Sean only has eyes for Cat at this time. Cat has nothing to worry about and she shouldn’t even if there was, as if I were Cat I would dump him like a hot potato if I should see a glimmer of him being interested in Peta or anyone. Life is too short to be with someone that will give you wrinkles and age you prematurely. LOL!

I’m sure a lot of women will be bothered if their partner travels with another female especially as attractive as Peta. IMO, it is okay to feel that way because I think it’s a normal reaction. But if you trust your man then there should be nothing to worry about.

I think Catherine is a strong enough woman to know if he is worth it or if she should walk away. She is a great catch so I'm sure she'll find happiness with either outcome!!
