My guess is that Sean has made about $500k off this. I would not consider that wealthy. Half of that goes to agents and taxes. He said he is not getting paid for the wedding, only that the wedding is being paid for. I don't know if his 15 minutes of fame will extend much longer. I think he is just cashing in while he can. If he's given another opportunity, I think he'll take it though. Doesn't seem in any hurry to get back to Dallas.

What's he going to do for a real job when this is all over? I've read something about some type of furniture business he's in, but in this economy it's probably not enough to live off of. No way will he get a career in entertainment industry, no personality for it.

This is pure speculation, but I wonder if he is purely a face for The Factory Girl. The timing is suspect. He may just be getting paid to bring attention to that store while he is the bachelor. He knows the people. If true, it was actually a smart business decision to attach himself to something like that before the show. He looks like a business man, gets paid, the store gets PR, win/win all around. I don't believe he has an actual job there, which is why he never needs to be there. He is of more use to them if he stays in the limelight.

I can't comment on her quote? She put herself out there as a part of this unlike Monica for example. Her blog about the show seems like fair game to me. I need a flashing list of no no's. I can't keep up. Someone said above that we can't talk about religion. Is that true?

Even if the sister is kind of prominent, she is still not officially a reality tv figure. Not like the Kardashians, they are all fair game.

Just a general comment not talking about that sister but, if I have a brother who went to a reality tv dating show and came out after eight weeks

and tells me he already found a wife, I wouldn't exactly jumped on board you know what I mean? Its all fun and games in the beginning until

REAL LIFE happens. And reality says, she's going to be my sister in law forever, suddenly your family dynamic as you know it, has ended.

That is a sobering thing to think about.

Well, she's the one who pushed her brother to join the Bachelorette. Everything that came afterwards, The Bachelor, his choice of fiancée, DWTS, hydroxycut, were inadvertently caused by the older sister's meddling.

If she doesn't like Cat for some reason, that's got to bug her that she started this ball in motion. He would have married a Dallas girl much like herself otherwise.

people cannot wait for him to get the wedding over with so they can disappear into the sunset. And when I say people not their fanatics ofcourse.

Regular people. I actually thought he has potential in the beginning cause he is articulate and has this politician vibe, but you are right he has no personality.

This is why he comes alive around people with real personality like Catherine, Tristan and Andy Dick. He needs to associate himself with the livewires and

the goofy people so he won't get lost in the crowd. My whole family is tired of him, and my mom loved him in the beginning. Before he has the

earnest honest man vibe now he has the used car salesman vibe. However he collected so much loot just by being engaged and will have a free wedding

so I think that's more than enough for someone who 1. cannot dance 2. someone who cannot decide on who to marry a day before the engagement.

I agree with this. At this point, you can't really expect Shay to be all like "I can't wait to have a new sister-in-law!!" because she barely knows Catherine and hasn't gotten to see them interact very much yet. Maybe she's just being cautious.

So, Shay still isn't backing her brother and Cat. Sure would love to know what's bugging her.... and I have a feeling that whatever it is, is the answer to the real relationship between Sean and Cat. I don't think it's as straight up as Ash and JP's was... I think it's a little more of an Emily/Jef kinda thing.

No offense to Shay, but I think their parents' opinions are more important. And all four of them seem to be completely supportive.

Could she not approve of the relationship? Sure. But she could also just be being quiet considering she basically threatened to kill Sean for not marrying his last serious girlfriend. For what it's worth, her and Catherine have been liking various pictures the others post on twitter and Instagram, so if there was a serious trouble between them I'd doubt we would see that.

Just my opinion of course.

Parental support is a whole different animal than parental approval. I would support my kids in any of their life experiences, including their right to make their own mistakes (not counting violent or illegal acts, of course). And surely I would never allow my private opinions of what they are doing to be aired in public where it would indicate a lack of support. So I take what both sets of parents have said with a grain of salt, as I trust they are good parents.

He probably within this year received 500-700K which is a good start in his life. After they are free from the appearance contracts with the producers of The Bachelor probably September/October, one will see a big move careerwise. Cath's going to be it. He would want to be married to her when she gets going. So much buzz about her.

Hello everyone, it's nice to read y'alls postings. Hope you guys are having a great time.

Do you guys remember this show, For Love or Money? I don't know why this show is cancelled but it is surely be a great twist
at the end of every Bachelor/Bachelorette before the engagement. It will save so many heartbreaks I guess.

Inorder for me to kind of determine if the couple will last, I put them through a For Love or Money test in my head, and for me it never fails.
I never saw JP or Ashley choosing Money instead of Love. They already had that unspoken bond and I believed in them.
I certainly could see Vienna and Pavelka choosing Money, no questions asked

When Sean was very confused on who to choose between Lindsay and Catherine. I played that Love or Money game in my head. I saw Chris
offering Sean, a sum of $500,000 Money or Love bet Catherine/ Lindsay. Now this is all hypothetica, and I was just going by
gutfeel but in my head it was clear what Sean would do.
