Michael G was the guy who 'won' on a dating show before. Holidate! Anyone ever watch that show?

What about Kasey, the hashtag guy? He was funny for oh, about five minutes. I can imagine him on a date, "Can I have a kiss?" Hashtag... #ireallywantakiss LOL!! Does he really talk that way #allthetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes atem l have watched it and enjoyed it too. Where 2 people switch geographical area and go on 3 mini dates and the winner gets an invite back to their home town.

Yeah, when I read about it, I asked if that's why Desiree cut him.

If Des' season further falls, there won't be another TB season and certainly no televised wedding.

At the moment the ABC programming people are trying to keep their jobs.

Since when have we considered this show good TV? I always consider it a train wreck and the bottom of my reality show scale (along with BB), beyond which lurks Jersey Shore, the Kardashians, Teen Moms, Tequila and a meriad of other horrid shows where I refuse to venture. This is as low as I'm willing to go!!!

The only reason I ever--ever watched this show was major train wreck. I was hooked on the snark of it following "Who wants to marry a millionaire" it's prototype.
I am responding to all the excuse making regarding the number crunching. Stats are stats.

It was by Randi Rahm (Silver beaded sylvia gown). I thought it was pretty on Des.

I love the dress but didn't like it half as much on her as on the model. Desiree's hair was too plain for it and the effect fell flat. She should have pinned it up in order to achieve that sophisticated "oomph" look.

She should have looked at CH and told him that she was really breaking the rulez this season and was going to send 10 home (at least) to focus on the remaining 15 losers.

That's pretty much what the Bachelor Canada did. The producers let him get rid of way more contestants than he was supposed to and it certainly worked for them.

Either way, I am not getting a good feeling for this season. I can only imagine the hell they will put Des through and I am not getting a happily after vibe like I did last year. Will stay tuned anyway ... and what does that say about me? Ugh!!!

I'm surprised at this group of guys. Emily got such a better group of men, and Sean got a really great group of women. Des is such a sweet and emotional girl, I can't believe the crop of men they picked for her. There are very few that seem right for her, but hopefully as the season goes on, we will see more in the guys than this first episode showed us.

i think we've had better contestants for a few seasons now since the leads have probably been a bit more insistent on what they were looking for. ashley obviously set the bar a lot higher intelligence/education wise, emily wanted a family-oriented guy and sean wanted a christian woman. des probably didn't strongly insist on what she wanted so they went back to giving us doofuses. this reminds me of the bach'ettes from a few seasons back like jillian's.

Yes. I checked with RS and according to him Drew is F4 and Zack is F3 so FS it is. I can only hope that they get better as we get to know them, but, I'm not holding my breath!

I agree with you. I actually like the cast this season. It is the editing and lack of substance that is off putting to me.

My hashtag for last night's premier was #gimmicks. Seems the majority had some intro gimmick up their sleeve.
