Shay has admitted her kids were so jet lagged in Thailand that Smith greeted Catherine and then fell asleep for the whole time they were there. On the other hand, they (the kids) met Emily on their turf, in their time zone. When they were awake.

In all honesty and fairness, we have no clue to how Shay really feels. Everything is speculation based on her silence. There are many possibilities and reasons she could be silent that have absolutely nothing to do with not supporting SeanCat or Catherine, etc. I don't know her reasoning and in all honesty, it's none of my business.

I get that everyone's curious and all and would never ask anyone to sensor their thoughts or not share opinions...but some have gone beyond speculation to just plain rude, IMO. At this point, I'm beyond tired of the whole discussion. Just as I am the topic of how rude it would be, etc if Sean doesn't get to see Catherine's Dad. At some point, we all have to realize the poor horsey is dead and no sense further beating him. Besides, in the end, it is their life...not mine and no matter how many posts I do or don't make on the subject, the outcome and decisions they make will not be affected by what I think, nor will it affect my life.

And with that, I'll leave y'all to discuss whatever, because I have no further interest in either of these topics. I keep checking in for new tweets and updates, not to see more discussion of this ongoing argument. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Just skip the posts if you're not interested. I'm sure there are topics you discuss that others find pointless and skip without popping into to tell you how tired they are of the whole thing. Just because the topic is dead for you does not mean it is dead for others and posting things like this just throws a wrench into a conversation that might be interesting to another.

Just spoke to @SeanLowe09. He called all those stories that he and Catherine are on the rocks "fictitious rumors." Really a great nice guy.

Thank you for this and the extra video (where Sean said the same thing) but it doesn't matter to some people. They refuse to believe anything Sean or Catherine say and instead prefer to speculate/believe in things NOT SAID (like Shay's silence) or speculate/believe in things mentioned by unnamed sources.

Well, I think sometimes people have a reason to be skeptical when it comes to relationships from this show. Jake and Vienna were always out and about being lovey dovey in front of the paps, and then wham, the next thing you know they broke up, dished all kinds of dirt on each other and couldn't say anything nice about one another. Pretty much admitted the relationship with a sham for the most part of it. Jef and Emily were professing their love and denying everything that the media had to say right up to the day they separated. DeAnna and Jesse were all cozy while making appearances, but later we found out that the only reason they stayed together the 3-4 months that they did was for the money they were making for their appearances. It seems like these are the standard type of stories for most of the couples that have come out of this franchise. So I can see why some are having a hard time believing Sean or Cat when they say that the rumors are not true. Hopefully this time, this couple is actually telling the truth.

Lol, the tabloids would know about all the fights and how dare Sean treat Princess Emily this way. Omg...... and the money spent, and never ever would she move to Texas........ Oh, I almost wish it........ I feel sorry for Cat..... I know she adores thsi man but she's putting up with way more that I ever would. First insensitive comments from Shay, then her friend, and last but not least Peta. Loves sweating with him, they're having so much fun...... hhhmmmm no wonder he's not learning to dance. ugh. sorry for my rant, but to many red flags. Hi all,

This is my first time posting, however I've been following these interesting conversations for quite some time now. Everyone is so respectful in this forum and that is why I continue to read these differing opinions!

That being said, I would have to agree that Shay's obvious lackluster response towards her brother's relationship with Catherine is alarming to say the least. I understand that it is nobody's business, but from someone who blogs about her brother and her family on a regular basis, it can be difficult for the audience not to pass judgement. For Shay to make statements regarding Emily only 3 days after Sean and Catherine's engagement is frankly quite rude. I would hate to be on the receiving end of a ridiculously inconsiderate response such as that. In my honest opinion, I find it very unchristian like coming from someone who promotes her love for all things Christian.

I'm sure she is a sweet girl, and perhaps Catherine rubbed her the wrong way. But, no one is perfect. Christianity promotes forgiveness and acceptance, so I found Shay's attitude a bit concerning.

Anyhow, I love reading everyone's opinions on this board! I'm happy to be a member of this site, you all seem like wonderful people. Also, hello to sophienette - I'm a big fan of yours as well :)

I agree with what you said about Peta.. She seems like a nice gal and super fun but sometimes her remarks regarding her closeness to Sean is a bit much. Sean is putting Catherine through the wringer with all this crap with the Shayness, Peta, no sex ban.. Lol I'm kind of hoping Catherine is giving him trouble as well for all the crap she's getting
