Anybody can correct me if I am wrong, I think Shay discussed Emily on the Kidd Kraddick show. They're both (Sean and Shay) over Emily, methinks.

She tweeted this on Nov 20, that was after the engagement. She cannot say anything bad about her brother's engagement so she tweeted this instead. Pretty random but its not random at all.

(Its not about Emily, its about her feelings about the engagement. Hashtag on good impression. )

who cares who shay likes or don't like? we can all speculate but in the end we will never know until either catherine or shay comes out and says it. Either way, sean is the one who's marrying catherine, not shay so who cares??

If/When they get married, Shay will warm up to Catherine, but in the mean time there's not point in speculating, we will never know the truth. no idea

I'd take the dad's approval over Shay anyway, any day ! He said he'd be Cat's biggest cheerleader. That's good enough for me. Shay who anywho!

Of course Sean didn't see Brooke as his wife. Shay also thought Emily Maynard was great for Sean, but Emily dumped Sean.

Shay's ability to pick partners for Sean is pretty dismal; with this kind of track record, I think if I were Sean I'd listen to what Shay had to say and then do exactly the opposite. Maybe that's exactly what he did.

You have a way of saying what I honestly believe, but in a more kind and gentle way than I ever could. If I said what I truly think of Shay, I would be banned from this board and I don't want to be. I love it here.

People cannot stop talking about it, so people obviously care.

I think its telling. Jef's brother didn't like Emily. And we all know now why. Not saying its the same case, when a family member is not
sold on a relationship made from a tv show, sometimes its the barometer of the authenticity of the relationship.

Is is possible that Sean himself has asked Shay not to tweet, blog, etc. about he and Catherine's relationship? (just to keep things more private between he/Catherine)

Ashley's sister didn't like JP at all and was very vocal about her opinion. Glad Ashley listened to her sister and even talked about her objections with JP but ultimately made the decision that was best for her. Look where they are now.

Like someone else said above, who cares if Shay likes Catherine or not? I'd hope for my family's blessing and approval in a mate and will pay attention to their feedback but sometimes you just know and see things differently from your family. I find Shay's silence strange but don't necessarily think it means she dislikes Catherine.

i remember reading that sean sees shay and the kids 1-2 times per week when he lives in dallas so they do spend a lot of time together. it would be awkward if everyone didn't get along seeing each other so much. i'm sure that if sean and Cat get married shay will accept her then if she hasn't already. once they are married the decision is made and she's family. who knows though if sean and Cat will even make their home in dallas. i wouldn't be surprised if they keep their options open and go somewhere else if a good opportunity arises or even if they just stay in LA.
