Everybody has their own opinion on this “stuff” (i.e. I quoted Sean in my first post here “astrology is bunk”), but we all have to agree it is not the only factor here. Maybe Desiree’s best match in this arena is Chris, but somebody else (i.e. Brooks) may have some “details” about their lifestyle and family which Desiree favors more… and Chris’ hometown date could be a disaster-of-all-disasters.

What added so much fun to this “fun thread” was Nate correcting her birthday. This instantly rearranged the pecking order. When Desiree had the July 1st birthday, Zack K. was her best match among the spoiled B-day guys, followed by James, Brooks and Kasey. (Now, only Brooks remains of these four guys.) With the date changed to April 8th, Chris skyrocketed to the top of the list.

Reality Steve reported “From what I'm hearing, Desiree's choice in the end will not surprise anyone. She's apparently known from early on who she liked the most.” Curiously, this was stated the same day there was much buzz (here only) about Chris getting his hometown date. Coincidence? Or tomfoolery because he has been snooping this site and wants us to think Chris has the edge? Apparently I’m the only one thinking all of this silly business out loud here.

Now… no way can this be THAT easy. There must be some sort of monkey wrench ready to be thrown at us…

Oh yeah… Jef and Ryan Bowers were spoiled as contestants on March 9th, a full week before Emily’s Meet & Greet was filmed! There are always a few Reality Steve knows who left for the show before the shooting date, some eliminated just before limo time… like David Insogna.

When William Holman had the public date in Las Vegas (Ashley’s season), photos were fuzzy at first. The clear images and video, I think, came after Reality Steve spoiled him in April… by which time he had left in Chiang Mai. Yet nothing was hidden about Brooks date at all. Everything was in sharp focus and, no, I don’t think those photos were leaked completely against Fleiss’ will. If he wants to hide a contestant, he can… JP was not exposed until May 3rd.

It also feels like those dodgeball photos were leaked on purpose… so that the Hartsock family could get a good look at the faces, perhaps? It was curious how Brian was only shown in side-view, being The-Dude-With-The-Girlfriend. I initially thought Zack was the frontrunner since Desiree’s hands were all over him, but Chris and many others are seen a lot, if not shown much with Des.

Also speaking of the dodgeball photos, Brooks and Des look weird in their shots. In one, she looks “concerned”, but in another, both are grinning for the camera. Heck, these two always look like they are saying “cheeeeze!” To play the Brooks-is-F1 card, it is quite possible that both decided they are marrying each other post-show, but are trying to psycho-fool some of us nerds into thinking they are too-too-TOO obvious together… sort of a “reversed psychology” experiment of sorts? Yet only a few here are as mentally deranged like me. Most who analyze Brooks photos simply say they make a cute couple, much as Emily and Ryan Bowers were judged cute together in their early leaked photos… and Sean and Lindsay at their concert video.

Of course, you know I can’t wait for the Meet & Greet photo to be published in either TV Guide or Entertainment Weekly. This is when I get the bulk of my mental stimulation… ha ha!

Yeah, I keep forgetting the 1st date was really public.

When I saw the pic, I saw a VERY happy Desiree and a guy that seems pretty laid back and seemed to be doing this for Desiree more than getting attention. I saw them as potentially a real couple.

Desiree hides things behind her 'smile', so just because you see a 'smile' doesn't mean she's happy or not taking it serious.

When will we have a clue about EW or TV Guide showing the M&G?

Probably have to wait another two weeks for that M&G group photo...

Oh, regarding those "thangs"... heh heh... everybody thinks I'm a nutcase.

Although the Bachelor seasons have the ladies scattered all over the place, the Bachelorette photos all look like they were stenciled in. Trista’s Ryan was directly behind her and Meredith’s Ian was an “end man” in a middle row, but all of the other F1s… Jerry Ferris, Jesse, Eddy, Robbbbberto, JayPee and Jefie… were… whatyouknow!... in the front row.

Also in the front row are their early “rivals” usually dumped before or at hometowns when our Lady Lead is pretty certain of her top pick. Now… in Jillian’s, both F3 Reid and F2 Kippy are there with Ed and Mike Stag. In fact, Kippy is the only F2 dumpee who appeared in the front row as I recall. In Deanna’s, F3 Jeremy is there but not her beloved Graham… probably because Fleiss didn’t want her to have him for some reason?

Among the other more typical “rivals” to the future F1 standing up front are Ali’s F4 Kirkie (whose scrapbook at M&G made her coo), Emily’s Los Angeles Joe (dumped on his date but making her gush that he looks like Matthew McConaughy) along with Tony the Tearful Daddy and, most interestingly, Ashley’s Willie. Willie got the wedding theme date to mirror JP’s later in the season.

So… it will especially be interesting to me how Chris, Brooks and some of the dumped guys we thought were frontrunners (Zack, Kasey, Diogo, Brad) are positioned in that group photo. What I haven’t figured out is this: Does the Bachelorette have favorites that go to the front row and the “friend” types are pushed back for future top 4 “dumpee” and possible future lead status? Or do the handlers (i.e. Cassie) know which ones are better matches regardless of what she thinks? (For example: Ames was not a major player in Ashley’s, but he’s up front maybe because of his NYC geography… and apparently somebody thought Graham was "questionable" for Deanna.)

Again, the Bachelor seasons are not so cookie-cuttered, probably because the guys are more confused about what/who they want… and production is clueless trying to guess with them. Nonetheless both Tierra and Catherine were up front in Sean's, the former getting the first FI rose. I do NOT think they are arranged by height; that theory was sent adrift ages ago.

Yes, if my theory that the show will use Jef or Arie for next season. No way do I see him being the possible lead (this is just seeing what we know now).

This will be the 9th Season of the Bachelorette. I forgot who was The Bachelor for the 9th Season looked it up...and found it was Lorenzo! Ugh! I think that's why I was really turned off this show. The final 1 and him stayed together for like one minute? They didn't even have a ATFR! He didn't propose either.

The Bachelor seasons when they casted new people/fresh faces are the worst. Lorenzo probably had the weirdest season like seriously what was that?
