You're right. He isn't even wearing a suit in the group shot. It's totally his glamour shot flipped.

I guess he was already passed out drunk when the group pic was taken. They had to photoshop him in with the only photo they had.

You don't see F1 in the back!!

F1 usually gets a front row spot, even if it is on the end. Graham (DeAnna's original intended F1 by her own admission) was in the 2nd row, but still very visible.
F2s are often on the 2nd row, F3s are often on the front row, and F4s are often in the back.
Kirk is short, and I think that is why he ended up in the front. I can't make up my mind about Ames. I am not sure at all how he got to be F4 because of the way that Dino is placed in the group picture in the back and because of Dino's late exiting from the limo which is also kind of typical of F4s. Those two may have swapped position within the F4 grouping before it was over.

My "vibe" this season was that Ryan and Bentley were potential F2 candidates and JP and William were potential F1s. One F1 would eventually become F3, since Bachlorettes tend to have a stronger emotional connection with F3 than F2... contrasting with the Bachelors. Since William got a very public date with others watching and JP got a private date at her place (and lost a coin flip for Mickey's Las Vegas private suite), I'm banking on JP always being F1. Only, when William got her so upset at the roast did Bentley's stock go up and temporarily topple JP's position after the Michelle Money story was "cleared" (per her eyes, that is). I'm not 100% sold on the fell-in-love-with-and-eager-to-move-to-Salt-Lake Bentley story, but he DID make her very upset with his departure. That relationship was too much like Ali/Frank. 50% Real-50% Reality TV.

I also noticed how much attention Matt and Rob got that episode despite their early departures... well, Matt made it to the second rose ceremony. Both were probably pegged as William "subsitutes" by the producers.

Ames was recruited for his "intellectual" credentials and probably thought to be a good match for Ashley, at least F3 status. He may not have made that position, but you will notice that the publicity often includes him as a top three "contender" with Ben and JP. I think all of this is based on Ashley's initial impressions out of the limo and the background work done by the producers.

Bottom line, I'm back to my original theory: JP, Bentley, William and Ryan were the initial top 4... the exact order can be debated but I think JP was always F1 contender. Ben, Dino and Ames followed each vacant spot.

I think that might be Tim's media picture which was flipped and photoshopped into the group picture. He is not wearing a suit.

It doesn't matter what she "wanted" as concerning Bentley - it wasn't going to happen as far as the producers were concerned, so I don't even consider him in the mix. When I look back on the seasons dating back to Jason as the Bachelor, one from the F4 has had his/her 1-1 from each episode 2-5 before the HTs, so I think that this the way they like to plan it.

Therefore, I think William with the 1-1 in the 2nd episode was supposed to be in the F4 probably like Ashley, but he fell from grace.

I agree with all you have posted here... nothing is coincidence. I also agree that Deanna's Jesse would have been the final 3 dumpee had Graham stayed in the picture. However, as I mention over and over, the Final 3 guy on the Bachelorette is usually one she has a stronger connection with than Final 2 dumpee, but she wants less stress come final rose ceremony. In other words, Deanna may not have liked Jesse as much as Graham, but she preferred him over F2 Jason even when Graham was still in the competition. Hope I'm not confusing here.

Obviously none of this is written in stone... and there are "oddities" like Chris L. being too far back in Ali's photo, but I do agree with the overall pattern of Final 1 being somewhere up front.

In regards to Constantine...

Everybody is in the dark here about how or why he leaves after his Fantasy Date. Is it HIS choice or HER choice? Will we get a replay of Ali's season, where her INITIAL final 3 becomes final 2 because her INITIAL final 2 drops out? (Ali liked Chris much more than Frank, but had his Last Chance Date cancelled because she couldn't "lead him on" any further. Had Frank not bolted, she would have continued The Show as is, since those two had a weaker relationship.) Already, we all can see she is much more "into" Ben than Dino.

I do think she is just stringing both guys to the Fantasy Suite knowing she can stay a good girl... and they probably both know it. Ames already "attacked" her in the elevator, sooo... I kinda doubt she plans to take EITHER Ames or Ryan to the FS.

Just a quickie question... what was Emily's "spot"? Are you referring to the limo arrivals?
