Funny, because when I heard that it was supposedly a bet, I interpreted it in a completely different way. Meaning that Brooks lost a bet with this older woman (who was flirting with him), and the payoff was that he had to kiss her, which he was a good sport about and did, and which her daughter then conveniently snapped pics of so she could brag to her girlfriends how she had "made out" with a young, good looking guy. All in an evening of good, drunken, NYE fun. I could be totally wrong (and no offense to the woman, as I am also in her age range, and sadly, assume that most hot young guys wouldn't be that interested in kissing me), but that's the first impression I got about the situation.

That was the same take I had on it. :Biggrin: I too, am about her age and know quite well that young men would have little interest in kissing me. Just hot older dudes. LMAO giggling

Still do not see it as a huge dealio...just not something I would do. <---there are plenty of differing escapades but as my bestie is not on here, I am not sharing! LOL

I also assumed that the bet was between Brooks & the woman. I can't imagine the daughter recording the smooch for posterity if her mother were being humiliated by Brooks. I also can't imagine daughter keeping pics of Brooks making a fool out of mom and then sending them into RS for further embarrassment. Thanks to those that were able to clarify the situation. yes

I don't know more than that. Someone was just kind enough to reply to an inquiry I had about it and that was before the RS blog was put out. I was going to post what it was going to be about, but didn't want to assume anything either. Just wanted you guys to know!

Ridiculous attempt at an after-the-fact excuse. I'm not buying it. And RS cannot contact Brooks. Already holes in that story. Brooks's new internet identity was for a reason. I wonder how many more skeletons are in his closet? Rolling Eyes

That doesn't mean he might not have also tried to contact Brooks for his side or his permission, and it doesn't mean that other people didn't know all about it before anything made it to the blog.

Could someone please ask RS why he's so sure MF isn't just obsessed with just getting back at him and that's why he loves this season so much and why can't he get information from after filming (meet ups, etc) now proving it?

I will tell you that someone did and we PM'd . The email to RS was about being duped. RS said disbelieve all you want and cry later why when you find out he's right. If you want to know the status of Bres, read his column. They're still engaged. That's the paraphrase of the email. No lies.
