I think the poster said the brother and sister were, not Brooks.

He was given The Bachelor 17's premiere episode (Sean's season) to watch before it aired as well. It's probably the same source he had then.

I agree. Every contestant wants to do a reality show or they would not apply. Love happens or it doesn't regardless of the venue. Many have benefited from doing this franchaise. Some find love in the greater Bachelor pool, others get career boosts or a cool change in employment. It is all good. :yes:

So, it was Michael that was on a dating reality show, but I guess they didn't even meet afterward. I remember watching that show (Holidate) on Soap Net. I liked it! giggling

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. Maybe I am naive but I believe some men go on this show to find love...like Ryan and Roberto. Then there are guys who only care about promoting themselves like Jesse and Jef. I'd say that if the Bette picks one of the latter she gets cheated of love. Unless the Bette isn't looking for true love either. I think Des is sincere but perhaps I am wrong. :Smiley:

But, I think that even Roberto said that when he went on the show, he never took it too seriously until he actually saw Ali. I think that some of them are good guys who sign up for the show because they want an adventure, some free travel, make some friends, have a good story to tell, but I'm not naive enough to think that most of the guys that are going on are sincerely looking only or even, primarily, for love. And, if they were, it would be honestly be really stupid. They have a 4% of "winning", and a 8% statistical probability that they will get married, if they are F1.

I think that most leads (especially the females ones) are open to finding love, but I don't think that's the primary reason. I think that money and career opportunities are the main reason that they decide to do the show - Ali and Jillian have pretty much said that.
