Our first bit of drama struck Desiree’s season last Thursday. Mike Fleiss somewhat hinted at it in a tweet when he wrote a week ago:

Looks like they went back to an ol’ standby this season: the ex-girlfriend appearing. It’s actually been a while since we’ve seen that. Sure, there’s always talk every season about someone having a boyfriend/girlfriend back home, but do you realize we haven’t seen one actually appear on the show since Ali’s season, when Rego’s ex-girlfriend made that phone call? Sean, Emily, Ben, Ashley, and Brad’s season have all come and gone without them going to the “ex still in the picture” card. Until now. Here’s what I can tell you: Brian Jarosinski had a girlfriend before going on the show and she showed up in some capacity last Thursday, confronted him, and he was removed from the show. Not sure where it happened, but I’m sure they did it in front of the other guys since he was on the group date the day before, so they all would’ve been hanging at the mansion. Her name is Stephanie Larimore, a single mom, and most notably, was also Playboy’s Playmate of the month back in June 2006. There are MANY Google images of her if you’re so inclined to look. I certainly did. And oh yeah, she’s also the ex-girlfriend of former “Bachelorette” contestant Craig Robinson. Ahhhh, what an incestual family this franchise can be at times. Anyway, the first two pictures are her with Brian that were on his Facebook page before he took it down:

As for Desiree’s season, if you were following along on Twitter, filming moved to Atlantic City, NJ on Monday because, well, is there any other place more romantic than Atlantic City, NJ? You know, especially if you’re under 80 years of age? I think not. Anyway, before that, Deisree had a 1-on-1 date with Kasey Stewart in LA where they window danced at the Andaz Hotel. There was another group date (which seems bizarre since that would put 2 group dates in Episode 3) at Calamigos Ranch last Friday that a couple people on Instagram and Twitter tweeted about. I don’t have any details on it other than that’s where they were. Then Sunday they took off for New Jersey.

A reporter for Philly.com reported she had a date at the Steel Pier, followed by going to the Absecon Lighthouse, and then to the House of Blues. Sounds lovely. Yeah, but how did it smell there? That’s my question. Anyway, the group date yesterday was at the recently-filed-for-bankrupt Revel Hotel (they’re really pickin em’ this season) where they put on a Mr. America contest. 11 guys were on the date, the three celebrity judges were Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan from New York, the Mayor of Atlantic City Lorenzo Langford, and Desiree. The guys first competed by each answering a question, then performed a talent, followed by the swimsuit portion. As I reported on Twitter, Kasey Stewart won the competition. Zak Waddell finished 2nd, and with Brooks Forester finishing in 3rd. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here when I say I’d be shocked if Kasey Stewart didn’t at least get a hometown date at this point. Looks to be a front-runner.

Some notes about the group date yesterday:

-Of the 11 guys, 4 of them are guys I haven’t identified for you yet. You’ll have to wait for those.
-Some of the “talents” performed were: playing a ukulele, tap dancing (although he was joking around since he didn’t know how), playing the mini drums, reading a scene from Romeo and Juliet, singing “Fight for your Right to Party” by the Beastie Boys, stripping, one handed pushups, and dancing like Michael Jackson to name a few.
-Some of the questions that were asked by the judges: “Describe yourself as fire or ice?” “Do looks matter?” “Is sex important in a relationship?” “What’s your ideal mate?” “What could you improve on in your relationships?” “If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?” Wow. Very original questions. Really cutting deep with those.
-I do have a few pictures of all 11 guys right before the coronation in their bathing suits, but I’m gonna hold off on that for now as well. Still putting the pieces together on that one.

Once they leave New Jersey, I do not know where they are headed. However, as I’ve alluded to a couple times in the last month, I have been given some ideas of where I was told they were going, but haven’t been able to confirm it 100%. One of the destinations I was told was, “I’m 90% sure they’re going to Paris.” New Jersey will be episode 4. Based on past seasons, they still have three cities/countries to go to before hometowns. Looks like Paris will be one of them but I have no idea when. Could be next, could be in two weeks, or hell, it could be for the final rose ceremony since I don’t know that location yet either. But count on Paris as one of their stops along this romantic, wonderful, and unrealistic journey. They haven’t been to Paris in at least 6 or 7 years since Travis’ season. Then again, they’re not against repeating places since they repeated Canada and Thailand during Sean’s season (Jillian’s and Ashley’s). So that’s what I got for ya’ right now. Anyone else po'ed with this so called article that took forever for him to write? Not even one stinking pic of the guys there. We had to sit and look at stupid pics of Brian's playboy pics. Disgusting!

One thing I have to agree with him on, as I can not for the life of me understand why they spent time in AC---unless the east coast was an easy lay over for their next destination, perhaps out of the country. But then there are so many romantic, picturesque places on the east coast to fly from, AC is one of the last places that come to mind.

I'm sure they got a good deal from Atlantic City. And it's very close to the NYC airports so they'll have maximum flexibility for flights to Europe (which seems to be where they're headed). Also, if they had the idea for the Mr. America contest a while ago, Atlantic City is the traditional site for the Miss America pageant (no longer, of course). Too bad they didn't think of having a giant Monopoly game or something.
