So I just had to pop into Zak's thread and say that I finally can see Des & Zak's connection. She really likes him!

Too funny how he started yodeling during MIkey's time and her laugh was so genuine. She couldn't wait to get over their to talk with him. I really enjoyed their time together.

And then when she said singled out Zak as being one of the most passionate kissers of her guys ... wow! That's saying a lot.

So scratch what I wrote before about Zak being a producer pick. I get it. I see it. He's definitely a Des pick.

I am really looking forward to seeing more of him next week.

Did you guys read what their date will be next week? Talk about interesting!

The last one-on-one date with Zak helps Desiree to forget her problems as they arrive at an exclusive art studio for private lessons. They sketch live models in classic Spanish clothing - one model minus clothing - and there is a surprise guest model. i just read RS's blog today and he said that in an interview with the LA Times CH said they are thinking they need a lead with more "edge". they were talking about des' ratings being down and think maybe sweet & innocent isn't what fans want. so...i wouldn't be surprised if this is why zak is getting so much air time and that he may be being considered for the next lead over nicer guys like chris or drew. jmo.

I would love him as Bachelor. I doubt it would happen but am holding out hope because CH mentions him so often in his blog.

Well, I do have it on pretty good account that he is deliberately not mingling (could mean that he is still hung up over Des, is the secret F1 or perhaps has other option coming up in the near future...;) I just don't think that after this seasons horrendous ratings they would go with smb who is pretty much edited to be Des 2.0...

By "nicer" do you mean "nicer looking in the traditional sense"? Or nicer as in personality-wise? Wondering since Zak has not been shown at all to be negative to any of the guys or involved in the drama.

nice as in kind and gentle. zak definitely hasn't been unkind to anyone, but i wouldn't describe him as a classic "nice guy" like drew or chris. since i know you're not american a nice guy is one who is more mild-mannered. we have a saying that "nice guys finish last" because they tend to not be very strong in personality but can be more of people pleaser types. does that make any sense?

OK I get that, but then I do not agree Drew comes out nicer than Zak. He is bang in the middle of the drama, spreading what he heard to the other guys, etc...
Dont get me wrong, i actually do not think he isnt a nice guy, guess I am just playing devil's advocate here but I am failing to see why he is nicer than Zak who has hardly said a bad word about anyone, warranted or not.
