I'm not a fan of Zak. To me he seems a bit obsessive. Even buying the ring. He hasn't even gone on a one on one and he's planning to give a ring? Or maybe he likes showering a girl with gifts. He's trying too hard to be front and center like he wants camera time. But I will admit he seems like a nice guy despite. I'm willing to give him more time to see if my thoughts change.

Well put.  Seriously, A RING?!  I could see a knick-knack or necklace or bracelet, but a RING?!  I wonder if he's not going to have a chance to give it to her and that's why it was cut?

He has so many gimmicks up his abs ;). I'm curious how he'll take the let down.

Exactly what I've been thinking! I just can't figure out if these are all his ideas or TPTB ... naked intro (ep1), no shirt/skinny dip (ep 1), gift of book (ep 2), smiling grapefruit (ep 3) and friggin ring shopping AND guitar singing/songwriter (ep 4). What's next? The Des tattoo on ep 5?

I have no intention of following RS show-by-show spoilers as I still like to be surprised but can someone please tell me when Zak gets his first one-on-one date? Thanks!

Did I read that Zak used to work on Wall Street or was a financial trader or something? He's crazy like a fox.

i read an article somewhere on the web that zak has a masters in politic & philosophy and was a congressional liaison to the senate for something. boy is definitely brainy but engineers usually are. sorry, don't know when his 1-1 is but it is probably on the contestants' chart.

In the end, I think that guy was not the right Zak W.... he is a drilling engineer.  And some of his zany behavior may have something to do with an oil person's crazy schedule- especially if on a rig- 2 weeks out on a rig, two weeks home.  And the two weeks on spent with roustabouts on the rig.

I can assure you it's 100% him and he isn't actually a rig worker but an engineer...

I think wetpaint got it right except the 'looks that kill' part.  He is not that pretty but I think he's one of  the brainiestof the bunch.

True, but logicaly....

He has one in Spain(week6) 

Simply because we have caps of the week 6 GD(specifically of Chris,James,MikeG, Kasey) and caps of Drew's 1-on-1 that week.... 

So if we go by the caps, only Brooks, JuanPa or Zak could have possibly gotten the 2nd 1-on-1.

We have caps of Brooks on his 1-on-1 week 7, so he did 100% not have one the week before too.

That leaves JuanPa and Zak.

Keep in mind the group date was playing soccer, chances are JuanPa was there for that, no?!

Plus, If JuanPa would have gotten the 1-on-1, Zak would have had a 1-on-1 in Madeira, before Chris got his 2nd 1-on-1...but he did have a 1-on-1 in Madeira......SO..... Zak had a 1-on-1 in Spain ;

Zak apparently does get a 1 on 1 but it's not a given that he'd get one before someone else gets a 2nd one. That's happened before. 

It sounds like he's a smart guy however Zak really didn't do himself any favors in the first episode. It's hard to take someone seriously when they're not wearing a shirt at the M&G.

i wonder if they are thinking of him for the next bachelor. the tptb were pushing lindsay last season for the next b'ette and zak is the lindsay of this season according to CH. i read more of his thread here and he is a renaissance man albeit a bit on the rough side.
