Funny that you should mention Des' glow -- I thought that there was no glow last night at all.  Maybe she was just coached to make it appear that their big ending was "the most dramatic ever".  If she is glowing after the finale...and if Brooks proposes....then that glow is pathetic because all it speaks is that she got the guy she pined away about even though he was not ready for a life with her.  Who wants a guy who isn't DYING to live his life with you??  I trust that her look is pensive at the finale.  Otherwise, she has learned nothing about herself.

Conversely, what guy would want a girl who wasn't dying to live with him? That would be the case if she was with Drew or Chris, IMO. It's obviously been Brooks this whole season. Maybe it just took him a little longer to come to that conclusion.
