I think he was celibate the last couple year bc he didn't have a gf and had only gone on a date. I read it from here.

Not sure what he did when he actually had a gf. Not that it matters. Good for him!

I do think Sean got caught up in the moment in the Fantasy Suite and probably said some things to AshLee that never should have been said unless he was 100% sure she would be the final one. I can see how she would have had the impression that she was going to be F1. Sean told her before she got in the limo, "I thought from the beginning that it would be you." The moment he said that, I thought that he had seriously misled her and told her something in the Fantasy Suite leading her to believe she would not be going home, and that he knew it and was trying to cover his behind... So, I guess I'm the only one who doesn't think AshLee is just completely crazy here. I do think she fell hard for Sean, but I think it's because she was being seriously misled from early on and strongly led to believe that she was F1 - moreso than the other girls.

ITA, but I think it's also possible that he wasn't misleading but genuinely had a change of heart. Ashlee's was the first HTD (IRL not on film), so he might have gone in a diff direction after experiencing the next 2 HTDs. If she was genuinely his front runner until then, then he probably said things with confidence that he regrets now.

Ashlee fell for Sean way too early and I think she decided she was 'the one' because she wanted it so desperately. He probably did lead her on although doubtful he said exactly what she thinks he said. Even so it was bad form on her part. She could & should have taken the high road instead of what she did. I think she came across very badly.

The video of Cat & Sean showed me why she's f1. They just fit together.

Loved seeing Lesley M. She's hilarious! Got to love a little snark. :yes:

Whether Ash misunderstood or not, Sean "was not into her" anymore. She's got to accept that. It probably just bugs her because she couldn't control the outcome. Perhaps after spending alone time with Ash, it really hit home what she was really like and after spending alone time with Linds and Cat realized that he preferred being with them. Perhaps he realized that even though Ash was a perfect on paper match, she wasn't the perfect connection. .. especially after his date with Cat when they had such an amazing talk/connection in the Fantasy suite. He looked smitten with Cat on that Fantasy date.
