Who do you think should be the Next Bachelorette? (Poll)

I agree with everything said on this page about Dez. I also suspect that part of Sean's duty during his one hour special is to set up Dez as the lead. She has had quite a bit more screen time of late, and she's so likeable. Her elim will be sad.

I also love my Lesley, and I'd love to see her as the lead.

Leslie was it for me and then Dez took her by a nose. I love them both as leads. Man, they really pulled together great girls for Sean.

Off topic (my apologies) but I think all of the wonderful choices are confusing him. It's why every time one of 'em comes out with something that pulls at his heartstrings, he forgets where he was in the first place. I having a feeling these last 6 are going to be tough for him to sort through, thank god it's an elimination process and he's forced to widdle down his options!

I feel the same way, noobs! That's the reason that Big Sis Shay is coming out to tell Sean to "Focus on the big game." Football players always need pep talks and coaches. It's exhausting ;)

Whether it is legit confusion or not, I think that Sean is full-steam ahead after that to a touchdown FRC.

Back to Bettes, I hope they pick one of Sean's awesome girlies!

I agree I'd love to see Lesley as the lead, but I don't think Sean will be able to set Des up as one. Em spent most of her season selling Arie as the next lead and it didn't work/didn't happen and I will never believe he turned it down.. I do however think Des would make a great lead. : )

The epi description said that they would talk about the girl just sent home after HTDs, so even if Sean doesn't say, "Dez should be the Bette," he will most likely cast her in a positive light. The next Bette will be announced a few weeks later. Given the very positive response she got after her date, I think she's being strongly considered. As are Lindsey and others. We'll know soon!!!

As for Arie and Emily, we see that season from two very different perspectives. I respect your take, though I disagree with Emily's setting him up for the lead. I am glad we have Sean and his girls!

Thank Veg.... I rewatched Em's season not that long ago and took away my thoughts on all the guys and just listened to what Em was saying. That's when I saw how much she was selling Arie to the public.


Do we know exactly when they will announce the next Ette?. I think Des, Leslie or even Cat would make great Ette's. I can't wait to find out. ; )

Usually the Bette is announced at the ATFR, but I think Ashley was announced at the MTA. Maynard's announcement was an anomaly.

Sometimes it's leaked on advance of the announcement.

Meredith was 4th.

I just noticed this and my vote should be obvious. Lesley no question. Des is no 2 but its not that close for me

I hope this one is leaked so we don't have to wait as long. : ) And what I said about Arie is not a slam against him, It was more of a slam against Em. if anything. I hope you took it the way I meant it.. .

I really like Lesley and think she would be a great lead. Except, they don't want a great lead. They want someone they can manipulate. I don't see Lesley as someone easily manipulated. I think she is too strong. Des would be okay. I don't think I've seen enough energy to see her as the lead. I don't know how to better explain that. She is sweet, beautiful and smart but to me there seems to be something missing that the lead needs. Of course, I didn't think Sean would be a good lead and I was wrong so what do I know. Ashlee would not be a good lead as she is way too clingy and emotional. She has a lot going for her but I think she needs to be more secure in herself before she is ready for a long term relationship with anyone. And I do have to disagree with a lot of you on Lindsay. I think she would be okay. I like her and her energy. I know they only show her giggling and being silly but I believe there is a lot they are not showing because it doesn't fit their narrative. I actually see her as similar in personality as Ashley H. Of course, as usual, this is all based upon the "edited" person I see on my screen.

I so agree. I think he was so focus on each girl individually, and they are (almost) all great. He lost the focus on the end-goal, which does involve a comparing excercise!
I think Shay will be perfect for giving him the kick in the butt he needed, and which TPTB would not (coz it's good TV!)
