I agree! I do think Natalie is just being her sarcastic self! Haha Sean is not a Catholic. It is a practice of Catholics when they sin they need to go to a church to confess or "ask for forgiveness".

So everyone is excusing Sean and saying that AshLee got lost in the bachelor bubble but not him?

Had he actually had stronger feelings for someone else, he would have been more careful with his words.

My 2 cents: we do not know exactly what was said. Right now, Ashlee is being called a lot of not-so-nice things and I think she might be trying to rescue her image by saying Sean led her on. Whether he did or not, we only have her word for it, and no access to the TPTB editing room!

And I am not saying she is lying. But I try and judge on what I see and she has the most to win by saying this.

I also do not see Sean as conflicted based on his verbal (see my FD episode recap) and body language. I think he is playing his Bachelor role when he says he didnt know until last minute. I mean he told Chris he was ready to propose and in love. Unless I see him telling Lindsay he is madly in love with her in next episode, everything else is just drama filler IMO.

I mean, look at Ashley and Ben during Final chance date... a lot of people saw the chemistry and he really thought she was going to pick him. We got the whole bla-bla of who will I choose, OMG I am so conflicted, etc... when she knew probably in HK(if not earlier) that JP was the one and the rest was going through the motion and lip service.

Also want to add that I think Ashlee is an amazing amazing girl, who was very heavily manipulated by TPTB.

Thank you. Sean self admits that he was a big ball of confusion pretty much from start to finish...yet it's always the women's fault for misunderstanding his actions and words?

Also, he's proven to be as malleable as any lead ever..so, if anyone looks to be caught up in the bachelor bubble and led down a path by the producers, it's him.

It is very easy for us to judge a VERY heavily edited, heavily manipulated show when WE can rewind and slow mo every little bit of the show and disect every little word we hear, every move we see...Much harder to maintain perspective when you are tired, without any of the stabalizing influences from your normal life, have producers manipulating you and are trying to fulfill your contract as part of the show. I try not to judge anyone too harshly when watching...although there are times when that is more difficult. How many times have we all said things in the heat of the moment...in everyday life, forget about within the constraints of the show...and then later regretted what was said? Imagine if we had production editing those moments! and millions of people...with different opinions... dissecting our every move...and no opportunity to explain our actions or thoughts at the time. I'd hate to think of what people would think of me!!!

I just wonder what is the difference between Sarah Heron and Ashlee? Sean made it appear that he was gentleman enough to let go of Sarah in the middle of the day even before RC because HE CAN'T FIND IT IN HIS HEART TO LEAD HER ON. He knows there was nothing there, so ok, pull her out from sightseeing and hanging out with the girls to send her home, despite how humiliating that was.

And yet Ashlee, describing in great detail her engagement ring while hearing the choir of angels and gathering the pixie dust from freaking narnia or whatever lalala land she's imagining was further encouraged to hold this delusional thinking by being invited by Prince charming to the fantasy suite.

That moment he knew she was not the one he could have done what he did to Sarah Heron, pull her aside and yank her back to reality. That is the least that he could do, being the goody two shoes christian boy that he is. A little bit of kindness to give Ashlee some kind of dignity as he claimed he's done for Sarah.

No wonder he was praying so hard before he sent Ashlee home, he probably prayed --Dear Lawd, save me from the wrath of this woman that Im gonna kick to the curb for good tv'.. and god whispered to his ears for much needed clarity ' I can't be bothered with your stupid reality show problems, go ask Fleiss since he owns your soul for 100,000 dollars and change. Im busy saving the world from self destruction and from another meteor that is set to hit Los Angeles...

Im not in anyway excusing Ashlee's delusion but since the only common thing they have is religion, they probably talked about it on and and on and on. Religious commonality is a very powerful thing. A woman like Ashleee could've easily concluded, hey I am the most obvious choice specially compared to this girl with a baby voice who wore a freakin wedding gown the first day and this girl with a nose stud who can't even say the word marriage without breaking in hives much less pick her dirty clothes from the bathroom hamper (I making it up but.. might not be far off)

This is not Sean's first rodeo, he knows how these wolves operate since it was done to him. He just can't resist giving us good tv, so 10 points for Fleiss and 0 points for Jesus/God/evangelicals in Texas.

Unintentionally or not, Sean might have seen Sarah as being more fragile...
A stereotype of people with any kind of disability, but a possibility nonetheless.

I don't think Sean was calling the shots....it's Fleiss show. He already let go of Sarah before the RC, so I guess Fleiss wanted his share of drama during the 3 to 2 RC. The F3 elimination is ALWAYS the most dramatic one.
