This season I'm not invested in any of the players so it will be fun to just analyze the edit. Thank goodness for that considering I'm still not over Arie's departure and rumored FSgate. I believe Sean was attracted to Catherine and perhaps even liked her at this point but his attraction was deeper with others and MF is exploiting the drama with the other women for all it is worth. Yes, I agree, MF has tried to hide people in the past... but they get an early date and even though they're hidden in the edit. I'm not judging the relationship that they have now, and not saying that he didn't fall in love with her.... I'm just saying that in those first few weeks, although he may have thought she was cute, she wasn't on his top 4 list, or probably not even on his top 6 list. This could in fact be a good thing for them, because, as we've seen in the past... early physical attractions can lead to the Bach choosing the wrong girl because he's thinking with the wrong head. Sean seems to have that under control and will probably choose his F1 for different reasons than "you're hot". Although I do find this season kinda boring... I will continue to watch as Sean has my interest to see how he goes about choosing his F1.

I definitely agree with this. I do wish we would get to see a bit of interaction though to be able to follow how she gets there.

What you are saying makes sense...we are all debating whether there is nothing to show or they are hiding things because it is so obvious. I'm like you...if there is so little, why hide the very little there is?

So far my unspoiled friends all like Catherine, think she is cute and bubbly and very attracted to Sean. They also think it is just matter of time before he sends her home since they haven't seen them interacting except for the limo exit and the "I'm a vegan but like beef" talk. It is all I can do to keep a straight face.

I saw just enough in that hug to think she is in his top 6 - not sure about 4, but in the top 6 at this point. It's a wrap-around hug - more than one does when you're not invested a little. I agree we can be grasping at straws to prove an F1 but this straw has a little strength if you watch it. Is it because there was just surface stuff at this point or because the edit is hiding? No way to tell yet.

As far as boring - there are some new ideas at least - the Harlequin shot (which I thought was a cool ironic idea) but the forced kissing wasn't impressive. The early shows are always a bit boring. The main fun is trying to figure out why the lead goes the direction they do. I do miss the sleuthing where you measured candles and shadows. I think that's part of why it's not quite as fun. I truly wish they had two leads. That would add a great dimension.

I feel the same as you do about why they aren't showing any of Sean and Catherine. Normally when they do this it's because it's too obvious. IMHO. I hope you stay and post with us this season. There's a great group of people here.... .
