Stalight Chirldren's Foundation will be featured in an episode of ABC's hit show The Bachelor on January 21st. Tune in to see Bachelor Sean Lowe and his one-on-one date surprise two girls with chronic illness with a day they'll never forget.

Brianna (17) and Emilie (20) met on Starbright World,
Starlight's closed social network for seriously ill teens
and their siblings in September 2011. They instantly
bonded over a share love of pop culture, rollercoasters
and of course their experience living with mitochondrial
disease, a failure of the mitochondria, which can lead to
muscle weakness, visual problems, organ disease,
respiratory disorders, and neurological problems.

Despite living thousands of miles apart, Brianna and Emilie
became best friends over Starbright World and dreamed
of one day meeting in-person.

So really, Kacie B goes home? His perfect match? Can this girl have any more bad luck. She should stay out of Bachelor nation, clearly these guys don't see a good thing in front of them.

If Sean had thought Kacie was his perfect match, he wouldn't have sent her home or he would have pursued her between Emily's season and his own...or never signed on to be the Bach if he had that much interest in her. I need to see how it all plays out, but apparently, she didn't learn her lesson to stay out of the house drama her last go round. Besides, seems she's ok with being sent home and has moved on just fine. giggling

My understanding about Kacie is she went on the show per producer suggestion for the show and it had nothing to do with Yawn. Yawn and she were both aware of this and anything the audience is seeing --her ITM's and things she says about dating Yawn etc were there only as part of the storyboard.

I loved Kacie to pieces on Ben's season, but even her appearance on this season's TB couldn't entice me to watch one minute of Yawn the Michelin man. :(

BTW, how are the ratings this season? Judging by the traffic on this TB forum, it doesn't seem to be too popular.

Yep, she was a ratings grabber, just like Arie was, no doubt about it. If they wanted her strictly for drama, like they did Shawntel, she would have been brought in later in the season... this was all about her being a fan favorite and hoping that people would tune in to see her, get hooked and continue to watch.... cuz MF knew at the outset that ol' Yawny Boy was going to be a hard sell.

Just curious....can someone remind me why they chose Sean (whom I do like) if they knew he would be a snooze? Could they not find someone else to fill the shoes (I know that Roberto turned them down)?

I honestly think he was their first choice and plenty of people don't think he is a snooze, including the producers. Shay mentioned on her blog that they knew he would be it when the finale was airing it seems it was decided almost two months before the season started filming.
