I've seen it stated a few times on FB and Twitter over the past week but I disregarded it because no specifics were given nor were sources mentioned. It looked like attention seekers or troll posts to me. One on FB said something to the effect "I hope he does well on the show but I've heard they've already broken up".

The only thing that has given me pause is how little time they appear to be together in comparison to what we've heard about how long safe house visits were for past couples. Then again, both of them have jobs that require their presence and attention whereas many of the recent contestants were less constrained.

I know what you mean although I think they could have already had several visits (three or four); the visits just don't seem to be as long as the ones we have heard about in the past (e.g. not extending what we think was a visit so that they could spend New Year's Eve together). On the other hand, since Sean has not been allowed yet to announce whether he is with someone, it might have been too conspicuous if both he and Catherine were MIA for long periods of time and on New Year's Eve. And, as you said, their work commitments might preclude the longer visits. This may be an error in thinking but I don't think Catherine's dad Carey would be congratulating her just a couple of days ago if she and Sean had already broken up.
