Sean posted a random picture of his place on instagram so I'm thinking he may be back in Dallas.

If he is, that is kind of odd to me (although last night he responded "maybe" when someone tweeted that she hoped to see him out tonight in Dallas) as I would have thought he would want to be with Catherine tonight.

I certainly think he's been with Catherine. Interestingly her friend, Crista, liked a Seattle church several hours ago.

Who knows what flight availability was for 1/1? It could be they just couldn't work out a stay through New Years' Eve.... you can always, sort of, make your own when apart from someone you care for.

I'm sure it's not easy to negotiate the visits/work/ publicity. But it's a learning process they have to go through as a couple- and then it will be so much sweeter when they can be together all the time.

I think he's been with Catherine too and I noticed the same thing about Blue Sky Church - it's the only thing she has posted since the pajama pictures.

As far as your last statement, my guess is that he was reflecting the same sentiment in his tweet about 2013 being an even better year.

I usually take all spoilers with a grain of salt...if it's right, it's right, if not, oh well!. I am taking this season's with an even bigger grain!

^^^I am curious, is something giving you pause or do you have a general wait and see attitude?

I am a little surprised that they might not be spending New Year's together given that ABC is probably footing the bill for their meetups and travel yet on the flip side, Sean probably also has a ton of press to do in the next 7-10 days that (should) require some prep work and travel - along with running his biz. Based on what I've read, I recall that his partners really seem to feel that his presence is necessary to make their biz successful in 2013. I am sure he will have a number of obligations to juggle over the next few weeks.

...wait and see attitude primarily. I don't even have my own thoughts on who may or may not have "won", but I have the sneaking suspicion that the final episode may not have happened as depicted in the extended preview and spoiled by RS.

^^^Thanks! I, too, find some things a little odd and food for thought but then I think maybe they are being done purposely to cause confusion or suspicion. I am hoping the season starting will bring some clarity.

If your suspicions are accurate, let's hope that the scene we have been shown of the FRC is not the real one. As far as whether Catherine is the F1, I think most of us believe that Sean has been with his chosen one since Friday. From Instagram, we know Lindsay was still in Missouri with family this past weekend. However, I don't see any communication from Ashlee the last few days on Pinterest or twitter. No postings about Catherine from her friend since the pajama pictures on Christmas.

I think the scene of the FRC is before he sees either of the girls- I think we are pretty well aware that Sean wouldn't happily send girls home once he formed an attachment- and he's been pretty clear that he formed more than one. The question becomes who did he fall in love with. The theme seems to be that it doesn't so much matter how you start, it matters how you finish. I like that Sean has been up front in interviews that he changed his mind about girls and that first impressions weren't necessarily right impressions. Aside from the girl drama this season, that will be his drama. But both he and Shay have been laying such positive comments out there- they seem happy with the final outcome. As we know, the lead always has to let the F1 in on what really went on. But I'm hopeful that Sean is being really clear with his F1 about everything that went on on his end- he does seem to have told Shay everything, so I'd think he'd be able to tell his F1, too. Better to do that now than wait for the airing- and the F1 would be able to fill in blanks about the other girls, too, as long as she stayed out of the drama herself.

Just to clarify what I meant by the scene is the physical beauty (or lack thereof) of the place where the FRC purportedly takes place. Given what we know of Sean, I agree that it will be difficult to let girls go especially since he has been in their shoes and knows how hurtful it is. I also think he's savvy enough to prep the F1 as much as possible about what she is about to see on screen- I think he has already spoke to this in some of his interviews with comments such as her hopefully understand that he had to go through what he did to get to her (said, of course, in "hypothetical" terms).
