Re: Technical Questions - How do you...?
Chrome gave me the link to click if I wanted to enter the dangerous site. I got in to this Den of Terror that way.

Re: Technical Questions - How do you...?
Forummotion added a new advertising agency of some sort, last night that has caused this message. I've been on it since this morning, but had to leave for a few hours. When I left no one here posted about it so I thought maybe it was just affecting me. I found a fix myself rather than wait for them.
This worked for me.
Google Chrome
For Firefox, I think this is what I did. I clicked "this is not a threat" or something to that effect, bottom right of the screen. It took me to a Firefox security page, then a box for comments confirming that I'm reporting this message. It thanked me and asked to share it for others. I closed Firefox, relaunched it and it was fine.
I'm going by memory since I didn't follow anyone's instructions, but I think those were the steps for Firefox.
I just received an update from forummotion and they have uninstalled the program. Things should be back to normal tomorrow.
If anything, it's an example of how good the security virus etc features are with forumotion. The advertising agency is well known, however something has been detected which is not acceptable to forumotion security features.
Please post any issues here and I'll report back to them.

Fix “Deceptive Site Ahead” issue
Even though it is not advisable to remove “Deceptive Site Ahead” filter from your browser, you can do that by following these simple steps:
Start Google Chrome.
Click “Menu” or “More” icon in the upper-right corner.
Select “Settings” and “Show advanced settings”.
Go to “Privacy” and deselect “Protect you and your device from dangerous sites.”
If you follow these instructions, your browser should not display such warning messages anymore. However, you will have to protect your computer from the cyber threats by some other means.

As of now, 3:15 pm est USA the issue is still current.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] the fix you did to enter the site, is how I got in this morning. I re-enababled it on my laptop. I am on my phone and for some reason it allows iPhone usage without triggering. Go figure. Hopefully forumotion will work the bug out soon.

No new updates from them, but they said within 24 hours. I have logged in and out since I did the fix and I'm still ok. Log out, clear cookies and history and log back in.

Re: Technical Questions - How do you...?
Boy am I glad I am able to get into the site again. My Avast anti-viral software would not let me in at all. I didn't even try another way because I didn't want to take the risk that goes with malware.
Because of that I had no way of knowing if it was just me or everyone. I found an old Facebook page that hasn't had anything posted on it for 4 years (and a bad email address as well). Any chance that site issues could be posted there in the future? That way people would have someplace to check if they can't get in.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] unfortunately that old Facebook account is inactive. Facebook will not delete it for me.
Follow @BachSpoilersFan on twitter and I will in the future post any issues there. Or anyone can email anytime [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. As I mentioned up thread, I logged on early yesterday morning and dealt with it asap. It didn't appear anyone here was having any issues, so I thought it might be just me. I had to leave and when I came back I saw the posts for those who were experiencing the same problem. Sorry about that, I should have mentioned it before I left.
Support has deleted the program that was causing the warning.
If anyone has any problems, please let me know.
TY.

Re: Technical Questions - How do you...?
Could not log in on Firefox just now. Got the warning. Tried Chrome and Edge and they could not even find the website. Did not try Internet explorer. iPhone works!
ETA: I just cleared my browser history on Firefox and got in with no problem!
