In "Episode 1701," Sean kicks off his journey - not by meeting beautiful bachelorettes, but by meeting with a friend -- someone who was also left heartbroken by Emily -- Arie Lukendyk, Jr. The handsome race driver offers his support as well as some hilarious, if questionable advice.

Arriving at the mansion for the first cocktail party, Sean is nervous, but seeing how excited the women are to meet him calms him down. These amazing women all make unique and lasting impressions, including a beautiful make-up artist who marks her territory with a kiss on Sean's cheek. A gorgeous engineer back flips out of the limousine - only to fall, unceremoniously, on her behind. A lovely cruise ship singer serenades Sean with an original song about their future love. A sexy hairdresser shocks Sean when she admits she's obsessed with the book Fifty Shades of Grey. A beauty dressed as a blushing bride steals the first real kiss of the night. However, Sean is so taken with one voluptuous woman, he decides to break the rules and offers her the first rose, to the dismay of the rest of the shocked and jealous women. But the last limo holds a real surprise: One additional guest shows up and changes the game. The competition shifts into high gear.

The women are confused and concerned when Sean gives another early rose to an enchanting wedding gown designer. When yet another bachelorette returns with a rose, the others realize that all the rules are out the window; if Sean feels a connection with one of them, she will get a rose right then and there. However not all the women are lucky enough to receive an early rose, and they wonder how best to impress him. One vulnerable woman reaches out to the Bachelor with honesty and sincerity. Another comes on strong, while still another repeatedly tries to steal his attention. Twelve women head into the rose ceremony with roses safely in hand. Sean, acknowledging how difficult it is to send seven more home, selects seven additional bachelorettes at the rose ceremony. Nineteen women will continue on with him in the search to find love.

I put the F4's interactions with Sean during the first Episode in bold lettering:

Bachelor 2012 Premiere: Sean Lowe Meets His Ladies

AshLee Frazier is the first girl to meet Sean and perhaps the most excited to see him. "I'm so glad it's you!" she confessed.

Jackie slaps on her red lipstick and makes her mark on Sean's cheek, claiming him as her own. Bold!

Selma is having none of this territory marking! She pulls out a hankie and wipes Jackie's kiss right off!

Leslie Hughes is also pretty smitten with Sean, saying he's even cuter in person and calling him McSteamy.

Daniella greets Sean with a hearty handshake intead of a hug. Is she shy?
Kelly, a professional musician and dancer, decides to sing Sean a song. It's kind of awkward.

Katie Levans, a yoga instructor, is stunning in her gown. What you can't see is that she has bare feet!

Here's where it gets really crazy. Ashley P pulls out a necktie, making suggestions about what she'd like to do with it. Ashley, girl, buy a dude a drink first, maybe!

Taryn is so nervous she forgets to tell Sean her name! He has to ask for it. She's never seen The Bachelorette, so she's looking forward to getting to know Sean with fresh eyes.

Catherine immediately won us over when she greeted Sean with, "I’m really glad it’s you. You’re such a hunk!" As she scampered away, she shrieked with excitement. SO ADORABLE.

Robyn fell head over heels for Sean. LITERALLY. She did a couple of back handsprings out of the limo...and landed flat on her backside.

Lacey wants to make sure Sean remembers her name. So she gives him — you guessed it — a piece of lace

Paige Vigil first graced our TV screens as one of the superfans on Bachelor Pad 3. She's such a sweetie, ABC thought Sean might take a shine to her!

As Tierra introduced herself to Sean, she said, "I wanted to show you that I do have a heart on my finger and it’s open. And I hope you’ll be the guy to complete it." She impressed Sean so much, he gave her a rose right then and there!

Amanda tells Sean she wants to get their awkward moment of silence out of the way right off the bat, so they stare at each other uncomfortably for a while and share a laugh. Great ice breaker!

Keriann looks positively giddy to meet Sean's acquaintance.

Desiree, who goes by Dez, invites Sean to make a wish with her at the fountain. What do you think they wished for?

Sarah is visibly nervous about meeting Sean, but he does his best to put her at ease with a warm embrace.

Sean is quite taken with Brooke's old-school Hollywood glamour look!

Don't they look happy together? Could Diana be the one?

Sean and Lesley have something in common: they're both huge football fans! Lesley hikes the ball to Sean and he declares, "she's fun!"

Kristy is a model and already convinced the other girls are going to hate her. Is she going to be the Courtney Robertson of this season?

Ashley is a Southern belle through and through. And she's fixin' to make Sean Lowe her beau.

Lauren warns Sean that her daddy is very protective — if Sean breaks her heart, Lauren's dad is gonna break his legs. ABC, get a bodyguard on our Sean, quick!

Could this be Sean's future wife? She's certainly dressed the part. Lindsay Yenter stole the first real kiss of the night, planting a big one on Sean's lips. After their liplock, Sean asked, "Now what we've made out, can I know your name?"

That this seasons catch phrase will be, "Leap of Faith" I also wonder how many times Sean will say, "My wife is in this room" Umm yeah we know how many times that has been true. Rolling Eyes

I hope they won't deadhorse

with the term "amazing" and "most dramatic rose ceremony, ever"

Just one time I would like to hear Chris Harrison say. This upcoming rose ceremony is boring. You don't even need to watch. Same old same old.
