'Bachelor': First look at Sean Lowe and his 26 'ladies' -- EXCLUSIVE PHOTO

After Emily and Jef imploded, you’d understand if Chris Harrison was starting to lose faith in his own TV show. But quite the contrary! He’s positively giddy about new Bachelor Sean Lowe, whose quest for “love” begins on Jan. 7. “He’s a phenomenal guy,” Harrison says. “Gorgeous guy and super grounded. He’s that diamond in the rough, the guy from middle America you otherwise might not know about.”

Yeah, yeah, enough about the guy. We care about the ladies, and here is an exclusive first look at all 25 of them… uh, make that 26, including the secret bachelorette who will be revealed during the season premiere.

No, speculators, it’s not Dancing With the Stars‘ Cheryl Burke, who’s been lobbying hard to become a rose hander-outer. But we can confirm that the face you see blurred out is actually someone who fans will recognize — and maybe even be okay with! “She was a contestant from a prior season that met Sean and was desperate to pursue a relationship with him,” Harrison says.

Tierra, 24
Leasing consultant

Tierra makes a huge first impression on Sean right out of the limo. But the big thing with the person who makes that first impression is how they deal with it afterwards. You get that immediate attention and you think it's going to be a cakewalk, but you quickly realize 'Oh, crud, there are all of these other women to compete with.'

Sarah, 26
Advertising executive

Sarah is a beautiful, confident blond girl who was born with one arm, which is a first for us. She's not insecure about it, but it's more about everybody else getting used to it. She's the girl next door you can see Sean falling for. He doesn't just like the little country girls who are quiet and shy. She has a huge heart, and she's really sweet, but she's not so sweet that all the girls hate her.

Desiree, 26
Bridal stylist

Sean and Desiree have a pretty funny connection. Desiree is an aspiring wedding dress designer, and obviously she's never had a chance to stitch her own gown. But she's not that crazy bride-to-be. She likens herself to a guy's girl - she can throw a football like nobody else. He likes that she has a feminine side but she loves to talk sports.

Robyn, 24
Oil field account manager

Robyn is a former cheerleader who will literally be the first person to fall for Sean. It happens immediately. The limo arrives; she's falling. She's a beautiful girl, and Sean is definitely interested in her. It's not that he doesn't love the attention and those strong emotions, but there is drama an catfighting. The other girls realize they have to play their emotions closer to the vest and be smarter about what they show.

Ashley P., 28
Hairstylist

Right out of the limo Ashley says she's learned a few things from a certain best selling book, Fifty Shades of Grey. At first, you'll see his face like 'Huh?' but then she pulls out this blue-colored tie and he gets the reference. Ashley is also that girl on night 1 who may have had a little too much fun. She's in the moment and the night gets the best of her. She's a strong personality, and it all comes out - lukily for her, it doesn't all come up.

"Bachelor Premiere By the Numbers: 6 Things to Expect From Sean's Season"

Sean Lowe may have had his heart broken on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette, but he's back and sexier than ever as he searches for love on the new season of The Bachelor.

On the latest installment, which debuts Monday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c on ABC, the 28-year-old Texan will narrow down the field of 26 women before handing out his final rose. But Lowe isn't just the All-American boy-next-door we previously saw. Instead, viewers will also see that he's funny, he loves showing off his bod, and he isn't playing by the rules. Since TVGuide.com got an early peek at the premiere, we're sharing what to expect, by the numbers, from the newest season.

The Bachelor's Terrible Track Record: A history of failed romances

5 — The number of shirtless shots of Sean: That's just within the first minute and a half! Similar to Brad Womack's intro on Season 16, ABC takes advantage of the fact that Sean is buff and willing to show it off. (Unlike Ben Flajnik who was only shown sans clothing when he snuck out to skinny-dip!)

3 —The number of familiar faces viewers will recognize on the season premiere: And no, we're not counting Sean or host Chris Harrison. One of the people will help Sean prepare for his journey while the other two are contestants.

6 — The number of times Sean practices saying, "Will you accept this rose?" This scene will have you dying of laughter as it shows that Sean is serious about "the process," but also willing to poke fun at it.

Is your favorite show renewed or canceled?

14 — The number of dresses with sparkles: It's all about first impressions with this show, and unfortunately most ladies are more tacky than tasteful. But of all the gowns the ladies wear on Night 1, one in particular stands out (perhaps not in a good way): Somebody's wearing a wedding dress!

12 — The number of roses Sean hands out before the rose ceremony. Remember when we said he's not following any rules? Well, if Sean makes a connection with someone, he immediately proves it to them by handing out the signature flower. And it makes for quite the tense cocktail party.

1 — The number of girls who falls down the stairs on the first night. While Season 10's Tessa recovered from a Night 1 tumble and landed a proposal, we're pretty sure the same won't be true for this season's victim. (It seems to have to do more with intoxication than nerves.)

Tierra gets a rose before she enters the mansion (when she gets out of the limo), so I think it must be her. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though! :)

ETA: Here is what RS said:

-Tierra got a rose directly out of the limo, but some others to receive “first impression” roses during the cocktail party but before the rose ceremony were: Katie, Diana, Brooke, Selma, Catherine, Robyn along with about 5 or 6 others.

I think it was mentioned somewhere that Tierra was the frontrunner until she had a meltdown. She is the one who left before the F6 RC right? I do wonder if she would have gotten a HTD had she stayed.

It will be very interesting to see why she gets the first rose of the night right after coming out of the limo. She must have done something special in order for this to happen - can't wait to see what happens!

I wonder what happens with Tierra - she was the early frontrunner based on RS and CH's comments. Does she naturally fade out as others peak his interest more as often happens with the first impression rose recipient or does her insecure or emotional behavior lead him to lose interest?

In the EW article, she's described as voluptuous. Perhaps her curves catch his eye opening night? She looks very pretty in her RC dress in the season photo.

We can't say much, but we will say that there is one girl who is way into Fifty Shades of Grey who talks about spanking, and there is at least one single mom with adorable children. Two opposite ends of the dating spectrum, basically.

I think she's officially being called a front runner because she gets that first rose. And that puts a target on her back a little, and starts the smoke and mirrors. It's how they create a TV show. Girls will be kept around who seem to be logical, who have some connection, who have some chemistry with Sean- I'm thinking he's a bit of a tease and sort of likes some banter- so the ones who are able to give and get will be fun to see. But I think Tierra might take that first rose to heart and then really think that she's a front runner, too. Which may be what leads to drama with her. Certainly, Sean likes something about her and she stays til St. Croix. But is she staying more for the drama? Does Sean get to see her drama? If he does, what does he do about it?

I think this season will be really interesting. I wish we could really find out everything, but in the end we will only get to know what TPTB want us to know (unless we can sleuth it out!!!!)

Exactly!!!! smoke and mirror. To keep the attention off the real one. You notice they didn't bring attention to Roberto.

And, in fact, when it became so obvious Roberto was the one, they just hid him- very little airtime between Lion King and hometown.
