Comment: Who cares if it makes sense? Does anything on this show make sense? Sean got engaged to Catherine in Thailand and they are still engaged today. I don’t care what episode who did what in. All that matters is the end result, so, I guess it wasn’t pretty late for a first date since that’s the one he chose. I think you shouldn’t read into who gets what date and when. It’s not important.

We might think its strange because we keep looking at the "formula" of past contestants. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the show itself is already a short time to get to know someone. Does it matter from week 2 to week 6? He already sees her every week in group dates so they must have connection elsewhere in between. RS is sorta right.. all that matter is the end results. Sean even said in an interview about having his F1 watch and that he had to go through so many people for her. The true test is the real life after everything is over- something that every couple, including the married ones, have to go through and we'll all have to wait.

While I do think Sean would never propose if his heart wasnt into it, I feel like he would propose so soon despite getting to know his F1 more near the end (aka what we see isnt the norm for past seasons).

Personally, I think it matters hugely from Week 2 to Week 6. A chance to spend 12 hours with her early on and then stay in touch on group dates and cocktail parties helps deepen a connection. Frankly, it makes it hard for me to take this season seriously which is sad becuase I really like what I know about Catherine.

It may be easier for Catherine to see Sean with other women since she didn't have a one on one until late. So often the women with early one on ones become jealous (just as it appears Tierra does by virtue of getting the first rose). But the same is true, I think, when watching the replay and F1 had a great date- and then watches every other girl having a great date, too. With Catherine waiting so long, she can have her great date and then watch the relationships with others wane- and Sean has said that the early front runners fall back as he grows more familiar with them and gets to know other women better.

Agreed. We got a shot of C&S 1-1 time, but not the actual scene, which is frustrating.

But, with the twist on FIR, the Kacie B return, etc... there is a lot we did not see in this 1st episode that would have been a given in previous season. 1st that come to mind is Chris H talking to the lead before the limo arrival or before the RC.

There were some new clips shown on tonight's OMG!Insider. may be more sleuthing possibilities. I still think we may be in for a surprise at the end of this as they alluded to some more twists and turns. But it may all be hype as it usually is.
