Also something of note, if Sean was so taken by Tierra from the beginning, why was her first 1-on-1 even after Catherine's? If she was such a front runner you would think she would have gotten one sooner. She even got stuck on the 2-on-1 date.

I believe Catherine is the F1 because my sources have also confirmed she and Sean are still engaged. So I don't question that Catherine is the one Sean picked during the finale.

What I want to know is if she had another 1-on-1 and why she didn't have her first one until Episode 6.

Maybe it doesn't matter, but the reason why fans are questioning this is because The Bachelor usually sticks to some type of pattern.

However, over the last couple of seasons many changes have been made.

I don't think there is anything wrong with continuing to sleuth things related to this season. I hope we continue to keep an open mind to the possibility that some things are still unknown at this point.

Seems like every few seasons the apple cart gets tipped over and things get changed up

Even if we know who the F1 is, how he gets to her is going to be the interesting part. When Sean said he hopes his gal realizes that everything that happens in the season (kissing, talking and all of it) is how he gets to her, I think he means that for us (the viewers) as well. I believe that he will be true to himself throughout.

I also think Sean is a slower mover with his heart and appraises all the options and weeds out .. I think he does hit a couple of conflicts along the way tho

Been out all day, so I'm just commenting now. I wouldn't necessarily call her a default F1 cause she didn't get an early date, just that there wasn't an early connection. I'm curious to see if there seems to be a stronger connection with anyone else, and/or what happens with other girls during their dates that causes him to change his focus, so to speak.

Option to support that - Sean knew night one that he really liked her. And purposefully didn't giver her a rose to keep her safe from scrutiny. He himself said that he threw the girl that he gave the first rose to under the bus with the girls in the house. He has watched the show, his sister is fan of the show and knows how it works. Could it be he had a plan to keep her safe from the other girls? His final 2 he didn't give roses to till the FRC right?

Catherine did get a rose during the evening .. We did not see it given tho .. Lindsey did not .. Got hers at the RC

His sister said that he told her everything that happened and the producers encouraged him to talk about everything so I think she kind of helped him a little

I think they've talked about everything since- not during- so she wouldn't have been able to help him out except by coaching him ahead of time. But he might have tried to keep F1/2 out of the line of fire if Shay gave him an idea that it would be good to do.

I brought it up earlier, on this thread or another, that during the ice castle date Catherine pretty much says that "it" has been perfect, or that "it" went exactly the way she wanted it to (I'm too lazy to go back for the exact quote). But that is their first one on one. She may be referring to whatever they did earlier in the day, or she may be referring to everything up to that point- or she may be referring to something entirely different. But it is possible that she liked things developing more slowly and a little more naturally, if that's possible in Bachelor world. Even if Sean gets only 10 or 15 minutes with the girls on dates and cocktail parties, that's about 10 times more than we actually get to see. I think those that are interested figure out pretty quickly how to make that time count.

No she actually knows everything even the F1. In her blog someone asked her if she knows info on the new season and she said yes and even knew what kind of drama was going to happen and etc. But the producers made her sign a contract so she can't say anything.

I know she knows everything NOW, that's what I mean about talking since... talking since filming, not airing. That's why she knows everything NOW, but I don't think she was in a position to coach Sean as he went along the "journey".
