The Bachelor 17 - Speculation/Spoilers - Discussion

I'll watch Sean! He's great to look at! And of course seems very sweet.

But didn't he say he is picky when it comes to women?! lol

I dont dislike Sean. I just dont think he'll be a good lead. I think we'll have another Prince Lorenzo season. Nice guy. Not real interesting. Not smooth or fun with the ladies. Not funny or witty. Just ....OK. Nice looking. Nice . Sean hasnt had but one date in 18 months? Somehow that reminds me of PLo too.

I dont want nice. I want funny, charming, funloving, adventurous, charismatic and sexy. I want a man who knows how to kiss. I want a man who loves women and knows how to woo a woman. I wanted Arie. Or Roberto. Or a cool unknown. So I'm just sort of ho hum right now.

Also , Sean is Jeremy's roomate now and Jeremy is A. not my favorite person and B. a friend of Reality Steve. So that makes me even less interested.

Yes, he did! Welll...I think he actually said selective and corrected Em when she said picky, he said just selective. But same difference!

Oh yeah, this is going to be a really exciting season of TB. Ten weeks of Sean preaching.

Wait, what? Where is it coming from that they are roommates? I've never read or seen anything that indicated that but I haven't been very updated on everything lately.

Isn't Emily an evangelical Christian who talked a lot about her faith? And she never met a wall that she didn't want to be pushed against. In fact, Sean shared one of the walls with her as I recall. I'm not too worried about his strong faith, I expect that won't preclude him from whoring around a bit on his season and creating some interesting drama. And isn't that what this show is really all about?

What is with these grown men who have jobs also having a roommate? It's not like they live in NYC or San Francisco where the rent is prohibitive.

I agree with your assessment of Sean but will add that I am really not looking forward to hearing about his faith more than one time for 30 seconds. I would have loved an unknown this time around....

I agree...I think Sean moved into the same area that Jeremy lives in, but I don't *think* that they are roommates.

Also, I would be SHOCKED if we didn't see Sean whore around a little bit this season, so I really don't think that's a concern. My only concern is that he isn't the most "unique" guy (I like my guys to be a little weird, like Reid and Arie), and we are going to get a very typical Bachelor season. But, I'm sure that the audience and the girls will love the All American guy (especially after Ben), so I think they are making a good choice.

I'm still trying to process the fact that two of my ALL-time favorites were considered this year...and it ended up being Sean. NOT FAIR.

I'll admit I thought Sean wasn't the most interesting person in Emily's season, BUT, post show, he's shown a great sense of humor and a lot of personality, so I'm going to say he may be a great bachelor and I'll definitely be watching

I'm very happy it's Sean, I think he has more personality then we saw with Em and after Ben and his greasy hair it'll be nice to have a HOT Bach again, plus he seems real unlike Jake the fake. Bring on January!
