The Bachelor 17 - Speculation/Spoilers - Discussion

Sean was my favorite on Emily's season so I'm really happy that is Sean.

I'm happy to see more of Sean on my t.v. screen, but I still worry about what MF and the machine have in store for him. I don't trust them to even give him a few good girls to choose from.

IA, UMNGirl. I worry for Sean but will definitely tune in to see how he fares through it all. I look forward to seeing his humor most of all. Wish him the best and hope he finds what he is seeking.

Ben at least showed a personality on Ashley's season so I thought his season showed promise. I was wrong.

Sean was like a bump on a log most of the time, totally wooden, totally boring. I cannot imagine the hoops the production team will have to go through. They'll be writing his lines just like they did for Jake and just like they obviously did for Sean last season. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

At this point I can only hope there will be a Courtney or a Vienna to liven things up! :laughingoutlou

Seriously, this season cannot be any more than Jake Two.

I totally agree with you both! And I'm so hoping we get to see some of his sarcastic, witty, funny banter and humor this time around. They totally gyped us from seeing more of it last season...only got a small glimpse of (muscles clip). Hope he finds what he is searching for and we get to see a love story. But I'm nervous for him at the same time cause Fleiss and the machine can be brutal.

Well, this is interesting. Smokescreen? Probably, especially with the inclusion of the GPS location in the last tweet.

Me too. And, I HAVEN'T watched the Bachelor/ette unless I like the person. And, I'm true to my word - I watched Emily M, Jillian, and I haven't watched the Bachelor since Jason.

I think the show will be fine, though, IF they do a really good job casting their girls.

I think he might be great as Bachelor. I've said before that I think he was great on Em's season, and very well spoken, so I have high hopes. MF and company are always brutal though so I expect that one of his F2 girls to be a crazy drunken sorority girl or someone that we'll think is the total opposite of his sweet faith-devoted dream, which could set up some interesting drama for the season.

PS - Ladybug I can't help but comment on your avi. Were you as excited SOA was back last night as I was?

That's a given.
Out of 25 women---all will either be models, waitresses, wannabe actresses, ex-beauty pageant winners and ex-cheer leaders(pro, college or high school). Out of the remaining, 2 will be single moms, 2 will be teachers who love teaching, but willing to give up their classrooms for THE BACHELOR and one will be an ex-convict, philanderer or money launderer(this season it could be a combo of all 3, since MF is really pulling out all the stops) who's past history will not come to the light until either US weekly, Life and Style or RS comes up with the scoop delivered by a poor, but deserving ex-boyfriend.

I'm surprised at the disinterest in Sean. The Bachelors always come across as boring but I'm looking forward to Sean more than any Bach in a long time.

He hasn't come across to me as fake, fame-seeking, sleazy, too old for the girls, a player who doesn't want to settle down, or just plain socially awkward (ahem Jake). I think he would like a real relationship and he could be really good. He was really boring with Emily, but might not be with more perky, energetic, adventurous girls. I'm excited for it.

YAY! I loved Sean on Em's season! And I think he'll be absolutely FANTASTIC on his own! I'm sorry that so many of you don't like him! :( I hope you give him a chance!
