As much as I like Sean, I just don't think that TB is the right place for him to be looking for a potential wife. I truly believe that Fleiss and company would RATHER have a season of TB where there are a lot of steamy hot tub makeout scenes, overnight fantasy suites dates with all three women, lots of crazy drama with the women in the house, and a less PG rated show than Emily's was. I imagine that Sean would want to follow along with a more PG-rated format as well.

I honestly think that Fleiss is trying his hardest to keep the next Bachelor under wraps and has perhaps already chosen someone. I hope, for Sean's sake, that he has turned it down though. JMHO.

What a good post! And to tell the truth, although I think Sean is a great guy, I wouldn't want such a PG season with religious overtones myself. With Emily, I think it was appropriate because of Ricki and it worked because that was an interesting story line, but I am ready for a bit of hot, hot, hot and silliness.

I still think it's more likely that Arie will be TB than Sean. Arie's the one going to the event in L.A., communicating on twitter/FB with Elan the producer, and visiting with Ben who's now rooting for Arie. I'm sure they talked about it during dinner so don't you think Arie would have told Ben if he were definitely not going to be TB?

Shhhh!!!! We must keep this quiet they want it to be a surprise!!!! I think there are many signals pointing to Arie being the bachelor over the other 2. I like all three choices but evidence of Roberto just being on vacation in Costa Rica with Chelsea Meissner makes me think it definitely will not be him!!! Sean appearing at numerous events with a crowd of former bachelor cast, seems to be prowling, or is that a sneaky way to stay in the limelight, showing he is single and ready to mingle? Versus ...Arie actually visiting with former bach Ben, encouraged about his love with bugrobertson then tweeting about the possibilities. You know they discussed the show. Did Ben do previous Bachelor duty helping prepare the next guy possibly navigate the rough waters ahead. The recent tweets a film crew was at Davanti Enoteca restaurant in Scottsdale for the “Bachelor” all just things to make you go hmmmmm....... Last year during the bachelor pad finale they showed a short film package announcing Ben next Bachelor and right before that there were tweets about filming Ben. Is anyone aware of tweets about Bachelor filming around Dallas or San Diego? Ryan Bowers has been out and about at events some with Sean and Kacie B, does that mean he is in the running too or just prowling and enjoying the attention, any filming activity in his hometown????

I recently heard from someone who would def know;) that BEFORE the girls were to accept their invites to be on the show (which obviously has already happened) they were going to be told who The Bachelor is.

SO, going by this which is fact and would only change if something truly happened where the lead wasnt decided by that time (which I don't buy) I feel that (most likely) Sean was always the choice and this Fleiss BS about not knowing, is just to keep the hype up.

I think that there is no chance RS would be soooooooo sure of himself (concerning Arie) unless he absolutely knows something. I mean if he is wrong it would take away so much credibility and he knows that, i just don't think he would be so confident if it was just something he was wishing for.

so RS is saying it's Sean?

I think RS is saying Sean or Roberto, but I think there is no chance its Roberto because of his vaca with that woman.

I just re-read what I wrote, the last paragraph wasn't very clear, sorry! I am referring to the Arie stuff RS is saying.

This could be perceived entirely the opposite way. Roberto is having a fun final fling before heading off to Bach-land and possbily getting engaged. Remember, once he's the Bach, he's not gettting laid for ~8 wks (until FDs, and that's if he goes there then.)

i believe Kacie B mentioned that she didnt know who TB is until she was about to leave home to do filming. Apparently, this is the common practice, except for last Em season. they decided to announce it early, due to Ricki, i suppose.But i agree with you, RS seems know something, from Sean camp, that he is absolutely getting into the show

as of a couple days ago 2 of Blondies sources have said it's going to be Arie. Her 3rd hadn't confirmed.

I tend to agree about RS - why deny the Arie rumor so vehemently - unless he knows otherwise?

Does anyone know what these guys have to contractually adhere to either before or after an announcement is made with regard to publicity or employment if it's media related? Are there certain non-compete clauses in their contracts that require them to get ABC's approval or release on for a certain period of time? If so, I could see how this would affect both Sean and Arie's post-Bachelorette activities. It would also give MF visibility into what these guys have as far as other options.

I'm still holding out hope that Sean opts to or gets asked to be part of "Courtney Loves Dallas" instead of TB. However, since Bravo is part of NBC Universal, I wonder if he can? I'm not trying to go off topic..just find these tweets interesting as a potential clue..they could be goofing off..however, a lot of fans of both think it'd be fun to see both of them on her show:
