Arie evidently is trying to get a full-time Indy ride. In negotiations. So he says via twitland.

This is a public forum for a general population of people to gather. As such, we are a diverse group. Is diversity THAT threatening to some?

Hopefully, this "time out" will only be temporary and the Mods will be able to reopen the threads. If, however, they feel it is not worth their time and aggrevation (and who can blame them for feeling that way?), I would like to thank them and everyone else here for allowing me to express myself and have a great deal of fun throughout this past season. It has been my pleasure to have shared so much with so many of you. Unfortunately, I am feeling very disheartened about the future of this board and any future partication I may have in it. If this board or myself are not here by next season, and if Arie is the Bachelor, just know that I will be cheering him on with full gusto. I wish him the brightest and happiest future possible.

The more I've thought about it, the more I think a lock down is the right thing to have. There are so many members here I enjoy and respect, on all sides of the "war," and yet I've seen so many surprising (to me) things come from even the best of them. People feed off each other, and lose perspective. Everyone does it, but it isn't always healthy. People were able to see the loss of perspective on the other side, but not on their own, and yet it truly existed (in my eyes) on all sides, and I saw myself really struggling with it as well.

Embarassing, yes, that we as rational adults can find ourselves in such a place, but we are human. Embarassment happens.

To me, this is a time for everyone to look hard at their own actions and figure out if they really were staying as stepped back as they thought they were, and if maybe they contributed to divisiveness more than they thought they did. I am thinking about it. I hope everyone is.

Take a breather and come back with our heads more securely fastened.

And that said: onwards to a new season where sluething will keep everyone occupied on a single goal.

Steve thinks it's still Roberto's to lose and Sean if Roberto is a no-go, definitely not Arie. Man, I will probs hyperventilate and/or pee my pants each and every time Roberto speaks, appears on screen, gives an ITM or just in general exists on my screen this winter. Haha. Hottest, sweetest Bachelor evah evah.

I agree. And while I miss being able to read updates about Jem and Arie, I am so glad that no one is able to talk about it anymore because everything was getting ridiculous and annoying. I hope that by the time the next season rolls around everything will be forgiven and forgotten.

Did he just say that recently? I thought Roberto never wanted it and even more is dating someone? I would be shocked if it was Roberto since he has been out of spotlight so to speak. I wonder if RS info is old?

Thanks. Wow, he must be pretty confident. Im just confused with the majority of BG sources saying it was Arie and all the tweets and such seems like it was heading that way. I wonder if RS knows for sure why it wouldn't be Arie (maybe he has always said no but seems like he's been interested recently or if he thinks its because of his racing or they just don't want to goo with him). Im just ready to get on with out already.

Miahawk has probably got me in her foe list but I will respond..I think in real life some of us wouldn't dream of responding to posts the way they have on this board. I know I have hit the send button when I shouldn't have and if I offended anyone I am sorry. I get we all have opinions and are entitled to give them but some opinions are cruel for lack of a better word. In real life there will always be followers and leaders and those who can be easily manipulated as well as the know it all. I think this board has hit a wall! I appreciate and have enjoyed my friendship with Love_me and San. They have busy lives so miss alot of the nonsense. Anyway to all who can see my post :sending flowers

RS acts like the restaurant sighting is the only reason that folks think it's Arie. Does he not read Arie's tweets? Does he think Arie is just teasing all of his fans for no reason ?
Also, why on earth would it be difficult or time-consuming to sign Roberto or Sean?
Havent his insider sources dried up? I'd love it if Fleiss had Sean himself whispering foilers into RS's ear. KABOOM!

I do not have a foe list. I have never foed a single person. I fundamentally disagree with the idea of foeing anyone. Speaking only for myself, I feel that if I cannot tolerate reading posts from all people, including those of differing opinions, styles, standards, then I feel that I have personally allowed myself to go too far in my own reactions to posts. I am not saying that to use the foe button is not the right choice for somebody else, but as for myself I do not use it. I sadly feel the need to defend myself here, because, for me personally, the suggestion that I have foed anyone is 100% false and goes against what I believe in.

Regarding Sean and TB, it's my understanding that he was pursued early on in the process and BlondieGal's earlier posts on the choice, confirm this. I believe he has some specific terms that might have been and/or continue to be roadblocks or dealbreakers. Thus, his selling his soul comments of a few weeks ago. He isn't/wasn't a sloppy seconds choice as he's been referred to here.

I believe Roberto was the top choice for a number of reasons until he fell out and then the others were the focus of the search.

I adored Roberto, but I had a little trouble with how shiny he got on camera. Some people just naturally have a better camera presence than others, and it has about nothing to do with how naturally good looking they are. So that would be my main concern if he was the lead. If they fix it, fine.

I think the main advantage to using Roberto is that having "won" the show, he has a much stronger perspective on what you don't know about the people you are dating, that you might want to try to find out, just like Emily did. If it can make a difference in the end given how little you date anyone via this vehicle is up for grabs.

But if he is potentially falling for someone in real life, no way would (should) he do it.

And Arie has a MUCH better sense of humor, even if it is suspect if we'd be ever allowed to see it (why do they do that, pick funny guys and then vanilla them down???).

Sean is the pic if they want another apple pie season, more (calm) love story less drama.

But I believe the sources here; something may have happened Tuesday to stir things up in Fleissland, but I think at some point Tuesday TB was Arie's.
