I saw John Travolta every time I looked at Arie..couldn't get past that similarity!

I think I remember reading that Arie played rollerblade hockey in high school, so the guy might actually know how to skate. He doesn't play any stick or ball sports, so roller hockey might be it. And Arie isn't everyone's cup of tea. Maybe he's an acquired taste? Ben definitely wasn't my cup of tea. And I really despised Courtney. But they're both starting to grow on me.

It's a series of tweets from an employee of Davanti Restaurant in Scottsdale. Apparently there was a film crew there and then Arie walked in. From the span of her tweets, he seemed to be there for at least an hour or two. She said it was for The Bachelor, but it could have been for racing. I suspect they're going to make an announcement soon, especially if they're going to be doing any filming at races coming up. There's a good chance he might be racing this next week/end in Baltimore, so that would be the perfect place to film. But then, this isn't completely confirmed yet.

I hear you.... I thought he was very kind to Jef - during the show, at least. He also has beautiful eyes. But beyond that, I didn't find him terribly interesting or bright. jmo

PS enjoy your new baby - my baby is 12 now....how I miss those early years!!

I think it's all about what different people like, I didn't see what people saw in Ben, I thought he was funny, I'll give him that, but that's it!! I could NOT stand his hair and his face was just meeehh I did start watching his season though, but I stopped watching once I found out he chose Courtney because I couldn't watch that anymore.

I think Arie and Sean are both WAYYYYYYYYY more attractive than Ben will ever be, but that's just my personal opinion.

Roberto is super HOT too, He's now on top of my list but it looks like he's not gonna be The Bachelor.

I think this year TPTB have a great three way tie with Arie, Sean and Roberto. I think all three of them are great guys both inside and out!

I like RE, so it makes it harder for me seeing anyone I like doing this show, as I don't think much of the show.(no surprise there)
When I think of this show I think of a Road Runner cartoon with pretty scenery. I think of major train wreck. I think of 21st century slap stick. So it's entertaining, but not for the reasons most enjoy it.
But I suffered Brad doing it twice, and I liked Brad, so I guess this will be no different.

I feel much the same way Kasha. I used to watch for the love story (many, many seasons ago), but we so seldom got one that I gave up and started watching for the entertainment. I almost got caught up again while watching Ashley and JP. That one felt like a real love story to me, once we got past all the "ugly duckling" "bentley" BS. I loved JP so I was actually happy about the outcome of that one. I really haven't felt the love story in the last 2 seasons, so I'm back to watching for entertainment only again ... until now ....

I really like Arie. I like his family. I'm excited he might be the bachelor. His has potential to be a really great season. Here's hoping he doesn't get fleissed and diced in the editing room.

ETA: If he's the bachelor - I guess we don't know that for sure yet. :Smiley:
