The other interesting thing is that if you go on this lady's twitter thread, (Sarah something) she has Instagram's of what she has seen in SF for a couple tweets before and after the mentions of Ben at lunch, but nothing on Instagram on him.

If the ghost of Bentley is hanging over the JP/Ash love story in some viewers' minds, it matters not. I'm quite sure it's not hanging over JP and Ash's real life love story, and that's all that matters to them.

I don't think it's hanging over anyone's head other than some diehard viewers. If anything, the way he handled that whole scenario twice and a very vulnerable and hurt Ashley proved that he's the man for her. They've both compared their healthy, mutual, loving relationship to what she had with Bentley, and yeah, there are slight differences.

Agree, Pattycake. I've seen venom and untruths (posted as fact) about JP plus name calling of him. I have seen no such thing about Ben, or very little. There were tons of posts that I believe were deleted that were character assassination on JP, as NativeNewYorker also posted, and many other things. My feeling is unless we know any of these contestants in real life, that's going over the line of a non-fan opinion. Never understood the hate for the lead and any her guys on this show and never will. JMO.

Gina, have any of us talking about Pattycakes retweet posted venom or untruths about JP? I think we are trying not to.

It's easier to take pics of scenery and buildings than it is to very carefully and quietly take a pic of a "celebrity." Reminds me that Michelle Money posted on Twitter about a week ago that if you're going to try to take a picture of her secretly, you should at least turn the flash off your camera and make sure it doesn't make any clicking sounds.

This reminds me so much of Emily after the Las Vegas episode when she had to justify that the producers did NOT abused her being at a nascar place and it was all good for her to turn the page etc...... First time I think that one of the contestant made an interview while she was still officially part of the show. .... after this Vegas episode we never heard of Ricky anymore..

Now I find interesting that the producers have this need to justify that NOTHING happened during this overnight.

IMO... since JP is F1.... it would not look so well in the public eyes to consider Ashley as a s**t.... There is a difference between imagining something might happen during the fantasy date and claiming before the HTD that she spend the night with one of the contestant. however this lead me that they spent an awfully lot of time during this date together. however, it was in my eyes a very normal 1:1 date with a fun moped trip (no possibility to talk much) and a nice dinner. Funny also that Ben did not mention that the date was hours away from the hotel and it was decided that they remained there


again the producers played the drama jealousy card. They know very well their contestant and who is in love or not..... what an opportunity to stir JP's insecurities by not telling him upfront? I am sure that if he had known that the reason of the overnight was the distance, he would have said: okay, no big deal, part of the show. Yet nothing was said.

Also why didn't TPTB think it was necessary to clarify what went on with the sensual tram date? Because of who it involved? Hmmm

I said those venomous threads were deleted, we all know what they were. :D Some questioned Pattycake and that she should check her twitter sources or some such thing, when she was just posting tweets, no need to take her to the mat on it.

I saw the post showing the Tweet where someone saw JP in LA. Was the tweet posted showing that someone saw JP at LAX?

The tweet did not say LAX from what I remember. The only thing I can think of is that the person who viewed the tweet may have seen they had their location attached to it. Either that or they deducted that since he was just 1 hour before in a middle seat on a plane that he could not have been anywhere other than LAX. I have no idea, just that they saw JP in LA.

The man was flying on a redeye from LAX to Orlando, so he was leaving late in the evening. It would make sense that he saw JP at that time because he probably flew out of NY right after work.
