:awesome: Really, Bentley who???? This girl has been all giggly school girl with JP since night one. I can't imagine him not being F1.

This is exactly what kind of makes me wonder. She has been giddy about JP since the beginning and yet still obsessed with Bentley.

Regarding the bolded: I know that is what we are supposed to believe, but I'm just really unable to buy what they are selling. I think through editing (using her overall insecurity between wondering if the guys wanted a different Bette in the first place, the roast which seemed to confirm all her fears and Bentley leaving the show so early after using every single opportunity to pursue her even while trashing her behind her back in every single PI - no doubt aided at least in part by the wonders of editing again), as well incessant producer prompted questions to get her to talk endlessly about Bentley and probably to question over and over again whether most of the guys really could be interested in her, I think TPTB have created a ridiculously overplayed made for TV Bentley obsession. Unfortunately, I think it is heading toward a major backfire toward the season overall (which TPTB totally deserve), and Ashley in particular, which IMO is really unfair.

My suspicion is that TPTB feared an otherwise boring season, since it seems pretty obvious (to me anyway) that Ashley and JP have off the charts chemistry together and a F4-F6 full of really nice guys. JP may not be her F1, but there is just no question that these two have swoon-worthy chemistry. I'm always, always wrong so this probably doesn't bode well for JP, but he's my choice for Ashley as F1, so far. I love the F4 (even Ames won me over big time, last episode), and I think Ben is absolutely adorable and yet may prove to be a big contender for Ashley's heart but from what I'm seeing right now, JP and Ashley are quite the match. When I see these images, I just cannot believe for a minute she is wasting a single thought on Bentley

All of the opinions, ideas, investigations make all of this so interesting to me. I literally can not wait sometimes to check in here and see what everyone is thinking. While I am an admitted Ben fan (and I hear ya, I also am always wrong) I see the "connection" big time with JP. I'll read one post and think it's gotta be JP and then see something else and think, no Ben still has a chance..and then back to no, it's gotta be JP. LOL it is a riot. I must say everyone makes such good cases. I am so glad this is not a jury and I don't have to decide someone's fate because it is too hard, you all are way too good.

It is good to have a Ben/JP seasaw going on here. Most would agree here that either "dude" is good for her. The only problem is that some of us are finding all the dots connecting with one, but not the other. Also, I think a Ben as Bachelor would be a nice change of pace, since he would be a completely different lead than past seasons. This franchise desperately needs change.

Whether it's JP or Ben, I just have to say..making out like that in the rain on a beach is damn sexiest thing I've seen on this show ever. This is way beyond a producer saying "ok, next scene, you kiss each other ~ camera, action". Nope these two are into it and turned on bigtime. It's very sensual..going from the little intimate face to face smiles to the full on passionate kisses and dropping the umbrella to hold each other. It just sizzles.

I agree about the soldier comment, and as much as Ryan might be coming off as odd, I admire him for making that comment. I'm a huge supporter of our troops, and I'm not going to knock anyone that supports them.
