Little Ashley is quite the spinmaster. Concerning her train ride with Dino she says "The ride was so beautiful and we passed through pitch-black tunnels that were quite romantic". According to CH, the tunnels caused smoke to fill up the train compartments leaving Ashley, Dino and crew gasping for breath. That doesn't sound very romantic to me !

Re: Ashley Hebert's Blogs - Discussion - Spoilers
The one blog I can't wait to see from her is the last one after the finale! Can't wait to read what she has to say about her journey falling in love with JP, when she knew he was the one, etc.
Here is Ali's final blog:
Here is Ali's final blog:
Now I finally have my chance to tell my love story with Roberto. Yay! The very first night that he stepped out of the limo, I felt this unbelievable connection. When I sat down with my producer Cassie to decide who I wanted to give the first impression rose to, I told her that I had to give it to Roberto because I felt in my heart that he was the one for me. It is so funny to think back to that night now and to remember how strong our connection was. I couldn't explain it at the time, but now I know it couldn't have been anything other than love at first sight. Chris's dad actually told me that when his wife first saw him she said, "That is the man I am going to marry." I had a similar experience with Roberto. Such a blessing!
As you remember, I did not have a date with Roberto the first week. I wanted to SO badly, but I knew that I was going to keep Roberto around for a long time; therefore, I knew that I could wait. I'm so glad I was patient because our first date the following week was perfect.
After the rose ceremonies, I would often wait in the hallway area for my ride home. One time, I fell asleep for a moment on the steps while waiting, and Roberto came down to kiss me on the forehead and say goodnight before I was brought back home. I'll never forget that. Also, every time I saw Roberto he told me a Spanish word of the day. Some of the words were: incredible, adventure, smile, strength, adorable, dedicated and love. I will leave it to Roberto to translate. I'm still learning! Actually, since the show finished, I went out and bought Rosetta Stone so I can learn Spanish. Spanish is a huge part of Roberto's life so it is really important to me that learn to speak it. ;) Check in with me in six months and ask me how I'm doing!
Lion King was another one of those unforgettable experiences for us. I truly believe that I could not have done that with any of the other guys. Roberto's calm confidence helped me get through it.
You didn't get to see much of us in Iceland. Our time at the Blue Lagoon was unbelievably romantic. I saved a special cave within the Lagoon for our one-on-one time, and things certainly got steamy in there!
Our relationship continued to grow in Turkey and Portugal. I especially remember not wanting to leave him after our date in Lisbon. Dancing in the street with Roberto seems like something you only see in the movies; however, that is life for us! Since the show has ended, we have had secret rendezvous together. During those visits, Roberto will spin me around in the living room and just start dancing with me. He is every bit as romantic at home as he was in Lisbon. I cherish that about him.
I was by far the most nervous visiting Roberto's family, just because I really wanted to make a good impression. Roberto's parents have such a lovely marriage. We will truly be lucky if our relationship is as successful as theirs. You didn't see much of his brother Pete, his brother's fiancée Christen, and his sitter Olga; however, they are all just as sweet and caring as Roberto. I am really lucky that I get to be a part of his family. They are wonderful!
Now onto Tahiti! During dinner in Le Taha'a, Roberto and I really wanted to be close to each other. I actually have a picture of us kissing while the audio crew was putting our microphones on us. I'll have to post it to my Facebook Fan Page sometime so you can see it. It's so cute! We really couldn't keep our hands off each other! As I noted in my blog two weeks ago, Roberto and I had some funny experiences during our overnight date. Besides that, we stayed up all night talking. I remember not wanting the night to end. I just kept my iPod on repeat and listened to some of my favorite love songs with him all night. One song that I loved in particular was Halo by Beyonce. I remember listening to that song while watching him sleep and thinking, "I have finally found my angel."
My family absolutely adores Roberto. I love that when my dad gave him permission to propose to me he said, "I don't see a problem with that." Ha ha ha. That is classic Daddy Fedotowsky. He cracks me up. That was his way of trying to hide his excitement. My mom told me that during Roberto's visit she was watching him talk to my sister and brother outside and it brought her to tears because she felt in her heart that she was looking at her future son-in-law. A mother’s intuition is never wrong. I actually think we should do a poll after watching the finale. Instead of asking, "Who will Ali choose?" let's ask, "Whose family is better at salsa? Ali's family or Roberto's family?" Tough choice I know. Ha ha.
I was positive my feelings for Roberto were unbreakable once we had our final date. It was perfect. We experienced some thrills (jet skiing and sting rays) and a lot of romance (how amazing with the rain?!?!). The reason I didn't tell Roberto that I loved him back at the end of our date is because I hadn't said goodbye to Chris yet, and I felt it wasn't right for me to tell Roberto I loved him when I couldn't give him my whole heart yet. However, in time, I was able to tell him exactly how I felt. His proposal to me is the most beautiful thing I could possibly imagine. I actually remember saying to a friend that if I was proposed to on the show it would just be a temporary proposal, and that I would want the guy to propose again out in the "real world." Wow, do I feel differently now. Roberto's proposal couldn't have been more real or special. I wouldn't ever want anything other than exactly how he asked me. Every word he said came from his heart, and I feel so blessed that he said those words to me. After Roberto and I saw the proposal for the first time at the After the Final Rose taping, we went home and watched it about 10 more times that night. After re-watching it so many times, we promised each other that whenever we get in a fight, we are going to pop the finale in the DVD player and remember that moment. So glad we have that on film.
And finally, I realize that many of you are skeptical of relationships that come out of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette experience, and I am not asking you to feel any different about what I have found. But what I do want to say is this: I have found a love that is stronger than I ever thought was possible. Since the show finished filming, I have fallen even more in love with Roberto. Will we last the test of time? I cannot answer that for you. All I can say is that we will work on our relationship every day, and no matter what we do in our lives, we will always make our relationship our first priority. Roberto is the strongest man I have ever known, and I want spend every day of my life striving to be the best woman I can be for him. I have faith in our relationship. I love him. I cherish him. I am so very thankful to have found him.
Until ... the wedding! ;)

I guess "quite romantic" is the new phrase for "grasping for breath" . :laughingoutlou

I'm really surprised she didn't say more romantic things about her date with Ben. She just gushed about the scenery more. She even called Dino's date romantic. Talk about confusing, poor Ben has been hidden enough and she never mentioned the "I think I might be falling in love with Ben in this blog. .
Agree. Alanna, she loved it. "quite a stir with the guys back at the suite, especially JP"

Re: Ashley Hebert's Blogs - Discussion - Spoilers
I don't see how Ryan coming back can be anything more than, "Hey! Good to see you. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!" given this travel blog. Doesn't seem to be any skepticism behind "realized on our date that he wasn't the one" and "letting him go was the right thing to do." I think the only way he'll be at the FRC is if he snorkels over from another island and pops up in the middle of the proposal. If he's there by invitation from Ash, I'll eat my shoe. Of course, I shouldn't say that so lightly since I've just finished choking down that hat after last season...

Re: Ashley Hebert's Blogs - Discussion - Spoilers
he travel we've been fortunate enough to experience along this journey on The Bachelorette has been incredible. I've loved learning about new cultures, seeing locations I've only seen in books or magazines, and getting to fall in love in some of the most romantic locations in the world.
And one of the best things about traveling is the feeling you get when it's time to go home. Even though we weren't heading to see my family, knowing I was about to meet the families of the guys I had grown so close to was incredibly exciting. While traveling back to the States, I envisioned what each family would be like, but, boy, was I wrong with a couple of them!
Let's start with Constantine's hometown. Throughout our relationship he was often telling me, "Once you see me with my family, you'll understand. That's when you'll really see the real me." I knew that if it didn't go well, this would probably be the end of the road for the two of us. I'm so attracted to both Constantine's looks and honesty that I really wanted it to go well.
Constantine spent so much time talking about his family and how important they were to him, I always felt like he was holding back and was never really comfortable dating in this process. I can understand that because you are removed from the comfort of your normal life, family and friends. In a way, it can make you feel incomplete.
Homebody Constantine
From the moment I saw Constantine in Cumming, he was like a new man. He seemed relaxed, warm, and incredibly happy and confident. I learned so much about him and everything made sense to me now.
Constantine's family is his life and they make him whole. I think more than any other hometown visit, being around Constantine's family let me know that they would be a constant and welcome presence if we chose to spend our lives together. One moment you didn't get to see was his mother sharing a story with me about when she was sick, and Constantine stayed by her bed until she got better. It really touched my heart; I knew he was a good man who puts family first, and I was right.
I also learned on this date that being Greek Orthodox was a huge part of his life. I had never known religion to be that important to him, and it really took me by surprise that he never mentioned it to me. I assume it was fear of dissimilarity. Overall, my relationship with Constantine reached an incredible place on this hometown date.
Ames's Insight
Moving onto Ames. Ames is probably one of the most intelligent, optimistic and insightful people I've ever met. I was very excited and curious to meet his family and see how Ames became the man he is now. And they were incredible!
I was so comfortable talking with each of them, and I learned a lot more about him from his family. His mother is a strong, intelligent, independent and admirable woman. I see a lot of her qualities in Ames. I also loved Ames's sister Serena. She is definitely someone that I could see as a friend or sister-in-law. Serena asked me questions regarding my spark for Ames, and this was actually something I felt I was missing at this point.
I really like Ames, but I have always waited for the romance to really happen. I saw a bit of his spontaneous side in the elevator in Taipei, but I feel he always talked about how he was romantic more than he actually was. This hometown date was really my last attempt to see if it could be there.
Serena had great insight because even she wasn't sure if I felt it. I was hoping to see it all come to fruition on this date, and while I did see and feel more, it wasn't enough to let one of the other guys go.
My next stop was Sonoma. I had never been to Northern California so I was excited to see what it was all about. Sonoma is such a quaint little town, it made me feel like I was really home.
Ben's family was one of the families that surprised me the most. In my mind, I thought they were going to be loud, outgoing, and somewhat goofy like Ben. I was so surprised to see that they were quite the opposite. They were sophisticated and conservative. His mother reminded me of Coco Chanel! I was so nervous talking with her and felt somewhat intimidated.
Ben's family has been through a lot in the past few years and I sensed a guard and protectiveness over him. Watching Ben's interview brought tears to my eyes. It was nice to see him dig deep into his heart and be comfortable showing emotion that he held in for so long. This is one of the things I love to see throughout this journey. It is about finding love, but it's also about finding yourself and I'm so happy to be a part of that with Ben. Honestly, I always enjoy my time spent with Ben. He's so fun to be around and lives a truly incredible life.
Romantic with JP
My last date was with JP in Long Island, New York. At this point, it felt like forever since I had seen him and I could not wait! On one of our dates I made fun of him because he said he liked rollerblading in New York City. I told him that rollerblading didn't seem like a sexy pastime for such a stud. This was my payback. He took me roller-skating hoping that I would fall on my face, but to his dismay, he was the one that fell!
But the best part of all was that I felt like I was at a middle school dance. It was romantic and silly, and I remember thinking just how happy I was in those moments. I was really nervous to meet JP's family for a different reason than he probably thought. I was scared that they wouldn't be pleased that I wasn't Jewish. Religion does not matter to me, but I had no idea how they felt about it, so I went into this date with nervousness on my shoulders.
What a relief! His family was so supportive and sweet. They were also very concerned about JP getting his heart broken. It became clear that he had a very emotional breakup that affected him greatly, and all they want is to see their son happy. I also learned that JP gets his sweet smile from his mother, and his intellect from his dad. I had so many great conversations with everyone, but the best part was seeing his Bar Mitzvah photo. Sweet mullet, JP! Now we all know why he shaves his head!
I really couldn't have asked for a better visit with each family. I feel so fortunate to have such a high caliber group of men with me, and I loved getting to see them in their element. In the end, I really felt as if I was missing a romantic connection with Ames. I knew saying goodbye to him would be hard because the last thing I wanted to do was hurt someone I respected so much. Ames is the true definition of a good man and I know he will make a wonderful woman very happy one day! You're the best Ames!
She's such a great writer and her last blog is going to be incredible. Her happiness just shines through each and every word she writes about JP. Beautiful!
Big: You know, Manhattan has a lot of beautiful women.
Carrie: What an amazing observation!
Big: But the thing is, after awhile, you just wanna be with the one who makes you laugh.
