Honey, Ms. Emily ain't foolin' nobody that she won't mind her form and her appearance from now until the day she breathes her last, so I'm not sure about all this fussin' ;)

As we all agree, Ryan needs to get his butt out of a locker room and bro-downs and into sensitivity training. But I do think he wants to treat a woman well, and this show, as well as the reaction to him, might give him a lesson greater than one from God Almighty himself.

Ry's favor improves next episode; I hope that we see some softness from him.

re: the bolded - totally agree. That said, I think he would be the 1st to stick up for the kid getting bullied, for a woman being beaten, for anyone who needs help. He does seem to have a good heart - just foolish, foolish mouth.

Precisely. That's why KK immortalized his classic lines in my avis! He's a nut! If he talked to me with that mouth, I'd put him in his place, and he'd love it You can see that he loves when Em challenges him.

Maybe this is precisely why Emily keeps him around as long as she does. She knows she's not going to pick him/he knows she's not going to pick him but she sees through him and he gives her comic relief.

Totally agree...an eye opener for Romeo Ryan...and a good thing too! Still think he's the best looking on the show, but his ego needs to be deflated a bit...some special gal out there will bring him down to a respectable level when the time is right! In a perfect world, he and Emily would have made 'damn fine looking' couple!

I agree! He will treat his someone special well. I think he wants someone to put him in his place and challenge him. But that jmo. He reminds me of a lot of guys I grew up with...wanting a nice, sweet southern girl, who can be sweet as syrup, but is also stubborn, strong and in a look and few words, put you in your place. While saying it so sweetly you have to really think if it is a compliment or not!

On the first and second episode, Ryan was very different, he was kind to Emily and very nice, lots of smiling face.
Then after Emily went on the dates with Arie and had the steamy kisses in front of everybody, Ryan started to show his temper and bad words starting to come out.
He also started to act like a cocky person, I guess he started to show his flaws when his ego was crashed and he talked rude to Emily (just like any other jealous persons). I guess he's hurt and jealous deep down inside.

Ryan did not disappoint tonight in being completely pompous with just the right touch of sweetness. I thought that he was handing Emily a dirty diaper when he gave her the necklace just by the way he wanted to get it away from himself. LOL.

KK, I need the pic of him giving that wink during their 1:1 time post Romeo scene. I couldn't stop laughing at his "I'm not dead yet." LOL.

I can't even with him. He says the most absurd stuff. Last week with all his depth talk, I thought for a moment that he was digging wells with Jef. Then his use of the phrase "it would be neat for everybody" just pushed me over the edge--he's a ham! He pulled it together for both the Kalon scene and their kiss at the blasted statue this week.

He'll always be one of my faves just because we had so much fun with him pre-season.
