Dainty man? Haha. Race car driver nerves of steel versus muscles of steel. Poor Ryan. Many good qualities but the narcissism drowns them all out. Arie called it alright.

If what RS is predicting and Ryan will be on Bachelor Pad then that seals the deal that he will not be the next Bachelor.

If it was just the comment to Arie then maybe we could think it was said as a 'joke' but he made other comments as well so overall, he's coming off like a jerk.

I hope he recovers in Bachelor pad. The preview for next episode shows such a bad edit on Ryan. no no

If he was so bad, why did he get another 1-1 date with Emily and SC with her kissing him, which I don't think happened yet? Curious! I'm betting edit was exaggerated!

I am sure some of it is editing (re the arrogance) and scripted competition but the comments with the girls came right of his mouth uninvited. He didn't even stop at one comment he kept digging deeper. I really liked him at first but he has no filter and no sense of what is appropriate. If you want to have that conversation -much later in a relationship- go for it but there is a way to do it that is nice and supportive vs well I will love you but I won't be jumping your bones..

Re why did she keep Ryan then? Honestly I have wondered that more about Kalon- ugh! I think ultimately she has to keep so many guys around. She is not keeping the crazies- Vampire Detector or the guys who really could fall for her but she isn't going to fall for them- Tony. I think she probably gaged who is going to be least likely to really get hurt; who is looking for some self-promotion etc.

Why did she kiss him? Even though he made inappropriate comments he is not repulsive. He is still basically a nice guy, good looking and Emily said in an interview Kissing is okay- thats what being the bachelor is all about. JMO :Smiley:

^^^Good points, I wonder if he's the one who isn't happy about not getting a rose and it lasted too long? She said this in a recent interview where she rates the guys on smile, body, etc....I'm thinking he is!

I'm a little bummed that Ryan and his edit seem to really be headed south. I liked him in the beginning and thought their first date was pretty good. His edit keeps reminding me of Michelle Money's. Extremely good looking, confident, dry sense of humor (although I did laugh more at what MM said-Ryan's humor is a little too manly man for me). I bet the producers are really working him behind the scenes prompting him to get their villain. Probably already telling him if he acts a certain way (mentions being the bach) that he has a better chance. Who knows what they are telling him?

He's too cocky for my taste but I still tend to believe that part of the edited Ryan we are seeing is producer-driven. I agree that his comments in front of her friends were stoopid but I would be willing to bet money that the whole "interruption of the girl-talk" was producer-driven. Gosh, I wonder if I'm too cynical this season. Better put on some :rosiecolored

Do we know for sure that he got another 1-1 or could that SC of their kissing be from SQT?
