I can just see that! Can't remember if you watched Sweet Home Alabama Veg, but Ryan reminds me of Jeremiah when he said "I'm just excited to be here", I can just see him saying that about being on the show. Love that he's smiling too, also liked that he knew what was going on with Charlie when he was back with the other guys while the group date was going on, he seems to really care about people.

Yes ladies...he's still ok in my book and acknowledge he's not what Emily wants and he has faults!. Just don't catalog him in with Brad based on looks alone...funny how Emily, right off the bat, profiles men based on their looks...while she herself has no problem accentuating her own looks...shall I profile her a ditzy, dumb blond? stupid

Sorry, but she really annoys me at times!

Love this post, veg! I agree that Ryan just seems to be enjoying meeting and hanging with the guys, and getting to know Emily to see if anything's really there. I also bet he is somewhat amused by the whole reality TV experience, and suspect he just went along with production when they suggested "he" write Emily a letter; if it had been just a short note, I could almost believe he came up with the idea himself as a gracious southern gentleman, but seven pages worth??!! C'mon, that was so obviously a plot point to specifically create conflict at the cocktail party. He actually looked and sounded rather amused and slightly embarrassed while she was reading his "tome". I have a hard time right now seeing him getting super competitive and insecure over the course of the show, although I had thought it was implied that would be his edit, so who knows? He just seems to be along for the ride at the moment, and as you said, having the time of his life!

Totally with you on all this. I love watching him having such a good time. Hope he leaves having had a great experience right up until the end.

Re the letter, I'm sure I saw a number 7 written in pencil on the black paper that was wrapped around the letter (before she unrolls it you can see it's on the outside/back of the black page). I thought is was really weird that someone would have written the number of pages of the letter down. Your producer theory probably explains it.

I could have written that post word for word! I love Ryguy & knowing he isn't F1 but truly a wonderful & easy on the eyes gentleman lets me enjoy his role this season. I hope he made good friends & my money is on him making some lucky lady very happy one day...cough cough...Kacie B
