I think we should start a petition... Ryan for the next bachelor!!! I don't care who F2 is!!! How do you get TPTB attention? HA HA

This is the first season I have been involved on this site. I definitely vote for Ryan as the next bachelor. Since the show has not aired yet & the "public" does not know that Ryan is no longer on the show, when would be the appropriate time to start tweeting MF requesting Ryan for the next bachelor?? I will do it & hope many others do as well. Please let me know when it should be done.

Mike asks about which guys we like and who we want to see as the Bachelor periodically when the Bachelorette season is airing, so just respond when he asks. I wouldn't bug him about it now. I definitely think he takes the fans' opinion into consideration.

I would definately wait ... Jake looked good on paper as well. Just sayin ... wait and see why he went home when he did.

Me too Nutty ... What I am really hoping for is that no one gets the pedastal edit (a la Emily in Brad's season), and no one gets the devil's edit ( a la Courtney's edit). Even loafer man ... I hope his edit is more along the lines of his female counterpart Princess Erica, who was edited more of as a hoot rather than serious.

I think Kiptyn got this "pedestal "edit but come to find out it was not an edit! Sometimes a rose is really a rose and perhaps the same will be for Ryan.

noobs, lstiff, and Jello-shots, you keep on keepin' on with your Ryan love. KK helps it along with the pictures and stories she posts for my Daily Ryan Overdose. I love ALL of it. You ladies are awesome.

At this point in the season, Ryan's whoever we want him to be by virtue of the fact that we don't know everything about him except the bits we've learned. If my reading comprehension skills are sharp, I do think that I've seen the same types of posts in Jef, Arie, Sean, and Chris' threads. Everyone of those guys is getting cut too at some point here except for one of them.

As has been written numerous times once we learned that Ryan was cut, it seems surprising in light of who he is. He's Southern, he's a Christian, he's athletic, he had the very first 1:1, he's Romeo, he loves kids. Those qualities implied to most of us--before we learned Emily's type--that Ryan would be EXACTLY Emily's type.

I do imagine that TPTB also assumed the same, surprised when it didn't work out. He was probably thought to be in the F4, much like Jake, William, Ryan P. probably were before they were cut. Either way, ALL of us realize that he was cut or left because it didn't work with Emily. Totally acceptable and fair that she doesn't want him....but we do!

People can do whatever they want with a character. If someone wants to glorify him, that's her choice. If someone else wants to bash him, fair game as well. Once the season starts rolling, I'm pretty sure that all the threads will move into analysis mode. Right now, there's nothing really to do but stare at pictures, gush, and speculate. And it's all totally fine.
