Re: Mad Men - Discussion
I'm surprised no one has commented. Does anyone else watch? I flipping LOVE Mad Men. Because of the title, I would never have thought twice about it but someone told me about all the awards it had won so I tuned in and now I'm hooked!

I have watched from day one.

I found it on Net Flix after someone told me how good it was. Never a dull moment and I love all the characters. It's just so different from anything else on TV. I about fell out when the new version of Birdie showed up this season! And Don Draper just floats my boat... yes he does!!! :Drool:BlondieGal wrote:I have watched from day one.
Just out of curiosity... who is your favorite character. I love Roger Sterling. He cracks me up!!

Roger is funny. Hm .... I like seeing the transformation of Peggy and how she is breaking the very limited glass ceiling. She has some good one liners too. Regarding Don Draper, I am just glad I am not married to him.
You are right, there is NO show like this on TV. How everyone was glued to the TV after JFK's assassination was exactly how my mother said she was when it happened. Also like how the dresses and hair are changing from 60's to 70's with the current episodes.

Wow, what an incredible show last night! That episode should have been a season-ender.

I'm going to miss Jared Harris and Lane. No Don, not everyone has the ability to keep reinventing themselves.
