John Wolfner - Bachelorette 8 - Discussion

John definitely shouldve stayed over Chris and seeing the preview of him interrupting her seals it for me that he shouldn't have gotten that far. He's too into her too fast almost in an idealistic way not based on the reality of what they have. I hate saying it but I kinda got stalker vibes from him in a way. Like if they were dating in the real world, she would have a very hard time keeping him away if she were to break up with him.

My total opinion as well. IMO, he's definitely more handsome than Chris, and I he's made me chuckle a couple of times, like in Croatia, when the final rose drama started, cut to John saying, "I just love rose ceremonies...love them." Yep, just like a heart attack love them. :Smiley:

Honestly, just from seeing the clips of their date, I think they seem to have more chemistry than Emily and Chris. I also wonder if the RC talk made Emily change her mind, or TPTB told her to keep Chris for HTD because they knew they would get some great emotional/drama footage out of his departure at F4. Maybe Emily just didn't care because she knew who her F3 were by then?

The only questionable thing I see is that Chris has the first HTD. Arrangements must have been made while still in Prague wouldn't they?? When does Emily have to tell the producers who their final 4 are? Switching last minute doesn't make sense to me on a logistical standpoint. Definitely think Chris is coming off desperate and I would've liked John to go further.

I think all 6 families are on standby, actually, so they don't really have to switch things up. I remember that members of Ryan P.'s family were posting about the arrangements being made in case he was one of the F4.

Yes, I remember during Jason's season the last 6 girls were talking about making the arrangements and I think that was the first time we heard that Melissa's parents were not going to take part.

Everybody should know that @jwolfner encouraged Chris to talk to Emily. Wolf handled himself like a man and the guys respected him for it!

Obviously, John was never going to win, but I'm really sad we had to say goodbye to him this week. He's a good man.
