Even the caps for the finale make it look like Bubba is final 1!

Atem - I think that was the point lol. Most viewers probably forgot they left a PI of Jeremiah saying "So, I bought a ring two years ago. I just need to find the right girl" during his intro segment.

I kind of feel bad for Paige, Jeremiah, Bubba, and their families. I feel like the producers of this show are starting to go in the direction of the Bachelor series. Since they've already have a couple of seasons down, depending on the ratings, I think we will see more and more drama in the upcoming season of this show. JMHO.

I agree - it started out as heartwarming and fun - and now the show isn't afraid to make some of their cast look bad. They should see that it's the casting and uniqueness that has attracted people - no need to do manipulation and drama. It'd be interesting to see how many prefer SHA over B/B. If that's what's contributed to the show's audience they should strive to be different from B/B not follow them!

There's still a slim chance of some redemption - if Jeremiah "cowboys up in the eyes of the Bubba fans" in the finale - SWA probably has enough film to do that. (He doesn't need to but apparently that's what they want). I don't know if Bubba fans would give him credit -- may say it's too late. It's so odd because the worst, continuing charge against Jeremiah seems to be that he didn't express his feelings fast enough and that's the most unrealistic part of the whole show - fall in love in a month when you've only seen each other around 16 hours or so and the lead is dating other guys at the same time.

The Producers can just keep all the drama on Southern Nights . SHA is just fine without it .

Normally I don't post because I generally don't have much to say. Love this site and all the great sleuthing though! I hadn't seen this posted so I decided to come out of lurkdom for a minute. Can someone with sharp eyes take a look at photo 40 in the Finale caps album? I think I see something. The photo is the one of Jeremiah walking towards Paige with his head down. It looks to me like he is holding something in his right hand between his thumb and forefinger. Maybe a ring? I can't zoom in on the photo so it could be an illusion or I'm just seeing something I want to see.

Also wanted to reply to RealityEscape...I have watched SHA from the first episode and loved its vibe. Like you said...heatwarming and fun. I was tired of the mean-spirited manipulation that seems to have become a regular part of the Bachelor/Bachelorette series. Ick. I don't watch the B/B episodes real time anymore but still follow the sleuthing here because that's still fun. I will sometimes watch an episode online if it sounds like it is more like old school B/B where its about the love story. I did watch some of Brad II, Ali and Emily that way. Watching online allows me to fast forward through the parts that make me want to throw something at my screen. I will be soooooooo disappointed if SHA goes the same direction. There is enough negativity and meanness in real life so I don't find watching it entertaining.

A poster on Paige's site wrote the following about Paige's friends. Is this from an interview or have any of you seen something to support this? Looks like the friends have had a change of heart if Jeremiah's #1.

"On Facebook and Twitter Monica and Brynne have both said they absolutely adore the guy Paige is with. If they had to pick him from 22 guys, knowing what they know now (my italics!) they would pick the guy she chooses. "

that supports some of what we were guessing from a twitter thread Jeremiah was having with them.

His comment on the SHA wall was pretty funny. This guy definitely has a self deprecating humor.

This was under the post about City Shaun leaving the show with 3 best friends from the "country". There were a lot of mean comments.

I feel bad for Jeremiah. Yes, they did sign up for the show. I mean there are opinions... and then there are people simply posting mean degrading comments. And I feel sorry for Paige, who has to read and hear all these comments.

I also feel bad for Bubba; as I'm sure him and Jeremiah are very good friends.

I couldn't imagine what the families of all the contestants/lead is going through watching someone they care about on (edited) tv every week.

I think we all know the truth .... and since I'm Team Jeremiah, since Day One, YAY ! ..... Love this couple, and I will be happy to watch their love grow and grow ! :bigsmile:

I actually felt bad for him with that post. He seems to have a pretty good humor about this whole thing, so it must have gotten really bad for him to post that.

I actually found this site because of Sweet Home Alabama, I read another site and most there were anti-Jeremiah, so I wanted to find out if I was the only one who thought that he and Paige seemed to click the best. It was nice to find y'all.

As I watched this season unspoiled I saw Paige fall for Jeremiah, fall in lust with Shaun B and try to fall for Bubba. The heart wants what it wants and I think Paige's heart wants Jeremiah, so that is good enough for me. Bubba is awesome and I hope that he gets his own season with women who might be a little older and ready to settle down on the ranch with him.
