hehe ... Emily is one of my faves and I am glad she is the bette. I love her clothes and I think she will pick a good guy, plus she has a lot of man candy which always makes for a great season IMO.

I think Ben did fine. He chose the one he wanted, plain and simple. He knew he was picking the controversial choice but he chose her anyway. The Bachelors don't do that very often... Andy avoided Bevin and chose Tessa, Matt avoided Chelsea and chose the pre-destined Shayne. I say kudos to Ben for picking the woman that his heart wanted even tho to many it may never make sense. With that said, I hated his season. I hated how they edited Courtney as she seems to have a sweet side now. I wish they would have not have done that but like Michelle M. she gave them too much to work with and how could TPTB resist? Ben's season was boring not only because the F1 was so horridly edited but mainly because we knew pretty early on that none of his women were in the running to be the next Bette. In retrospect, that is fine with me. Emily and her "bless yer heart" attitude is much more appealing then the Courtney hatred the ensued last season.

However, going off of your avi nutty ... I think Reid would have made an amazing Bach and we both know that he was level - headed enough to make good decisions. I have no doubt I would have loved his season had he'd been given the chance! :hug:

Ahh, sweet Reid! I just rewatched some of the Reid parts from Jillians season. I shouldn't have because it depresses me a bit. I know Jillian has made comments that it was Ed or no one, but I don't believe that for a second, there was more to her relationship with Reid than what we will ever know. You are right, Reid is level headed, and cautious, so I find it hard to imagine he would go back and propose to Jillian if there wasn't "more" there. Watching the ATFR it was just so awkward between them, as if "things" (whatever that may be) happened that left him completely confused. Oh, well, I still think they would make an outstanding power couple.

I agree about Ben's season, I don't blame him for choosing who his heart wanted, that's the name of the game. But yes, his season was very boring. First time in a long time I didn't even watch all of the episodes. I was never real excited about Ben on Ashley's season, and even less on his own, I just didn't think he made a strong lead. But it's over and done with and now on to Emily's! I think she's a very genuine and sincere person, so I think it's going to be a good season. I remember in one of her PI's she did before the Final Rose in Brads season, she said she did not have a lot of self confidence, and Brad help bring that out of her. Well I really hope this experience, whether she comes out of it with a man or not, helps her instill confidence and helps her grow as an individual.

We need some type of health alert on this thread. Or at least a "Profuse Drool-Inducing Images" alert. That picture, Love, is gorgeous!

Add to that the talk of Reid, and I'm sweating worse than during a road race.

At this point, all the pretty that is Ryan and Emily and Ryan singularly makes this entire season worth it. I strongly suspect that, regardless of him being F1, F2, F4, or the next Bachelor, his beautiful face and sweet heart will earn him MUCHO screentime. And thank GOD for that!

I agree... kudos to whoever in production that made the call to put him on the first date and then make it so public. All of the tweeted pictures were basically free publicity for the show and Ryan! it was a good call putting him out there for the first date. Ryan and Emily together in the looks department was just "wow" and sex appeal.

I giggle because when I look at their dancing pics I think that there was nothing "a$$ out" about the way they were dancing together hehe. :hearts love:

I know MF said Emily wouldn't kiss at least until the end of episode 2... but I wonder if part of that was because Ryan maybe didn't want to kiss her out of respect.

After watching the entire vid, Ryan and Em danced in a very sexy, sensual way, to make up for the peck which Chris got. I felt she had a more intimate connection with Ryan, as far as attraction, sex appeal, just melting into his arms and yet still very playful as well cause when he took his jacket off during that dance she encouraged him to turn around and me thinks it was so she could get a good look at his assets.
While dancing to the first song, it was respectful with a little distance, by the end of that song, they were some what slow dancing, by the second song, in a complete slow dance, very sweet, and sexy

Also on several occassions, Em would turn for him to get close but out of respect he didn't get up on her to much. Me thinks they have a great connection and hopefully he will break the getting the first 1 0n 1 date curse and be the "Winner"

Something also tells me after all the failed seasons of couples breaking up and with the most recent being Ali and Roberto, then add the drama of last season, MF might give Emily and her chosen one the " luv story" she wants and we all have been waiting for.

I agree and hope they will build on that! Did anyone else notice that the few pictures there are of them together when Ryan has his jacket off seem more intimate than the earlier ones - eg when she has her head on his chest and shoulder and that one where they are gazing smiley at each other. That later slow dance must have been really gooooood. I think after the flirty turn and jacket off moments Emily's guard came down and she maybe started to not notice the crowd anymore.

Reid was given the chance and turned it down...probably because he was level headed enough to make good decisions!!!

This is true, but as time goes by memories get foggy. TPTB might consider Reid a has been, but if given the opportunity I bet Reid might at least consider being the bachelor now that he is no longer with Kristen.

I am with ya Nutty. As much as I adore Ben and Chris L, to me Reid is all that and more, kind, super funny, smart, family oriented, good business sense, gorgeous and yes, a PA guy!
