Also, nicknames that begin with "T" are common in Louisiana and neighboring Texas and Mississippi (where Travis Pope is from) --

T.Paul, T. Sam, T. Boy------any name with the letter"T" in front of it. "T" short for" petit, "meaning "little"

Bottom line, maybe it's a unique nickname to some but there are people who are referred to as "T-Bone".

If you move a little more Southeast, you get John Paul, Joe Bob, Jim Bob, Jimmy Mack,and a host of other double names - just not T-in front. We are more redneck oriented.
