You know what would be absolutely hilarious at this point is if we have RS come out and say that its going to be an Ames/ Dino finale. I feel like they aren't even really on the show.

You know what would be hilarious if RS does come out with Dino and Ames as the final 2 and J.P and Ben F wind up being the true F2.

OR if Ryan comes back and stays and it throws a real monkeywrench into everything............I know I am probably in the minority, but I really think Ryan's return might be a major factor.

Coastal, I hear ya. I can't believe they would do an exact Reid redo, coming back the day of the FRC and getting rejected again, OR an exact redo of Jeremy and Jake coming back to warn the lead of whoever or beg for another go. I can't wait to see how it all plays out and if RS is right is saying that Ryan coming back is exactly like another season and inferred like Reid did

Just something about that scenario screams not right..........to assume that he comes back to either warn or take Reid's stance and it ends up the same.........I think the twist comes that he is actually taken back and she chooses him...........but then again, that is the romantic side of my heart talking...........my brain, well, it don't agree.....

But why would she ever send her F1 home for any reason? It just doesn't make sense, you know?

One thing I do agree with is whoever said upthread that if JP is F1, it makes sense why we're getting to see a lot of chemistry with them now. To show that while she was "falling in love" with Bentley, JP was still around and at least a contender. Other than him, there is basically no other contender in the F4 right now whatsoever.

One thing I do agree with is whoever said upthread that if JP is F1, it makes sense why we're getting to see a lot of chemistry with them now. Plus, I think that after JP's date next week, he's going to disappear and TPTB are going to shove the other F4 at us to distract us.

I think they send Ryan back in for the same reason they sent Reid in (talked him into doing it, told some lies about second thoughts). They want him for the next Bachelor or at the very least a good possibility if the fan fave at F2 or F3 turns them down. Ryan P left too early to make a lasting impression with the audience (who really gets into the final 2 or 3 guys), so send Ryan back and make the audience want him to have a chance at love too.

Reid messed up their plan for him, I think Ryan is more likely to accept their offer if it comes to him -- just a feeling, I don't have a good reason why I think that about him.

Can't possibly be for a second chance with Ashley, could it? Maybe he warns her about somebody else.

Maybe Bentley comes back to apologize to Ash? And then Ryan comes back for another chance, but she lets him down. And then he becomes the next bachelor. IDK, does anyone remember what RS says about why Bentley comes back?

This probably belongs on his own thread, but...

Ryan is a tough one to figure out. I initially thought they were editing him like Frank: being first and being passionate. He wants to do great things for people... and he does so with his solar energy work. (Like Ben F. and others in the past, he "soft sells" a bit on this show... another little "something something" that often pulls contestants out of the Final One position since promoting a business increases your "exposure" after a show is filmed).

He considers love more powerful than the sun... if that means anything. Obviously this statement will feed into the "why" he returns...

Poetic to some degree, but also sarcastic of others: mocking Tim and his "fruitful conversation" and the comments about Masked Jeff. It appears that we have TWO Ryans here, dark and light. Like two Williams: the one who remember his deceased father and the one who brags about his date. Maybe two Bentleys? The second will show up later in Hong Kong?

of course Ryan could be in on it too. They don't have to warn Ashley, they know her heart is already with someone else and they want her honest reaction to his return. Maybe they realized they screwed up with Rejd by tricking him so they're upfront with Ryan about it. If you show up and follow our plan then we'll take a good look at you for the next lead. I think that is what went down with both Ali and Jake, they auditioned for the role and got it.

ITA. And a fan tweeted Reid yesterday and asked why he wasn't chosen to be the Bachelor. This is his reply:

I wonder if Bentley comes back so Ashley can reject him. Perhaps she needs to or they need her to show at that point - before the HTDs - that she is over Bentley and ready to choose someone else, to give validity to her final pick
