The Most Beautiful Sip & See

When I first thought about having a baby shower … I knew that I wanted Leo to be there so that people could meet him and we all could celebrate his birth together (including me). One of the reasons I didn’t want a typical Baby Shower was because we really didn’t want or need any gifts. So the longer Justin and I thought about it the more we realized we wanted a “Sip & See” instead. We wanted to celebrate our newest addition while being able to enjoy time with our loved ones. It was a great way to get everyone together to meet Leo if they hadn’t already. We of course, tried our best to say NO presents and instead make the entire event all about Leo!!!

Jillian's birth story is up on her blog. She and Justin are filming a reality show and, sure enough, the producers and camera people were there to capture it all. She tries to play it off that filming of the birth was spontaneous and she was against it, but idk. Sounds fishy to me. laugh out loud

Idk. I'm one of those strange people who thinks the birth of a child is a private event and shouldn't be documented by a camera crew or a photographer. Crazy I know.

IMO you are not crazy at all. IMO. A) no one else is really interested in all the boring details of someone else's birthing. B) no matter how matter of fact or dramatic it is --there is always the next person C) too much IMO in life is over shared. IMO I definitely think less is way way way more. D) I can not stress the value of privacy enough. JMOAA we are moving into a society where it will be hard to maintain.

When she was with Ed she would "never, ever" let cameras into her personal life. Different time, I guess. Also different guy. The way she snaps every second of her life this doesn't surprise me.

I also agree the birth of your child should be private (though I think hiring a photographer for your personal use is fine). This was the line all of these peeps used to laugh at as the imaginary border none of them would cross. Jillian is a real crusader here. laugh out loud
