Yeah I think you're right. They have 2 homes and live in 2 places, separately basically: Vancouver and somewhere else. It's messed up. Sorry! I'm so judgmental but I can't help it.

They don't even live together? So how the heck do they plan on raising this baby? What if Jilly needs his help in the middle of the night? Wtf? I don't really mind the not being married part, because it's common now a days. But not even living together when they're obviously a couple..? Seems strange. And hard work on both of them. Especially Jillian.

I don't know what they're planning to do, Jill makes enough to hire a night nanny I guess. She's frequently mentioned that she's decorating two nurseries and will have to figure out what to do with the baby. Justin will probably be like the cool, visiting uncle.

Haha... I feel pretty judgmental after my last post. She made 2 different nurseries. One in Kelowna and one in Vancouver. I also get the impression that she isn't always living with Justin.

I guess I mostly feel sad for her because I think the marriage was definitely important for her, at least at one time. Even with Justin when they first started dating, she was going on and on that he was the one she would marry. Then that kind of stopped.  I get the impression she gave up, and took the baby, so at least he was willing to do that, and at least she didn't waste the rest of her 30's and then miss out on this too. His IG post announcing the pregnancy was kinda douchey I thought, and definitely the comment about if he gave her a ring she'd lose it..yuck. After Jill's season, even though I liked Ed, well... I don't trust her judgement with men.  Doesn't have a great picker, that one.

I'm sure (hope) by now she has a plan. But a few months ago there was some interview/article and she sounded very up in the air what she was going to do. She travels a lot for work, and apparently has two homes she bounces between. She wasn't sure if she was going to leave her jobs (I doubt it), or hire a nanny. Jill is go, go, go, hyperactive- almost borderline manic, IMO. Her snaps illustrate that big time. She's also a workaholic. I'm guessing she'll hire a full time nanny and nanny becomes parent #3. I think that's how she'll handle it.

"the cool uncle"? Gawd. It sounds like she just needed him to make the baby and that's it. A friend that helps you get pregnant.

Jillian and Justin live together in their home in Kelowna. They also own a home in Vancouver where her Love It or List It: Vancouver tv show films. They just bought a new house in Kelowna that they are renovating. Filming has already begun for a new show about the project. 

I don't mind her snaps. Maybe it's just because I like her and that's the easiest way to keep up with her. Anything I don't like, I just skip over. 

Justin seems happy and excited for the baby. He was holding Jillian's cousin's brand new sleeping baby boy and pointed to Jill's bump and said, this is what he's doing in there right now (meaning sleeping). I thought he gave their baby's sex away and so did other followers. But Jill snapped back later that night or the next morning stating that they didn't give it away and they in fact don't even know what they are having yet. She said they just don't like calling their baby "it" so they say "he" sometimes and "she" sometimes. 

I saw the snap of the ring and I didn't feel sad for her (maybe naively) but I really just thought she was trying to show interest in the newly engaged girl's ring but I could be wrong. I didn't even catch who the girl was. I thought either someone on her film crew or someone who works in one of the many businesses she often goes to. I personally thought it was an ugly diamond (awful clarity, super cloudy) and way too small for the girl's hand. Now I'm being judgemental. Anyway, I don't think it's a ring that Jillian would ever want. That said, if Justin pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him, I'm pretty sure she would say yes. 

Oh this is getting long! One more quick thought.... Justin is younger than Jillian and guys are generally less mature than women, I think this is part of the reason they are not engaged or married already. I do know that the longer a couple goes without getting married, the less it seems necessary or even desired. But..... Sammy her cousin/best friend/sister just got married last weekend or the one before and the 4 of them hang out all of the time, so if they were to get married say next year or so, that wouldn't surprise me. AJMOAA

Perhaps at this point in her life, Jillian was more interested in having a child and not so hell-bent on marriage. After all the biological clock is ticking, and the older a woman gets the less fertile she is, and the more likelihood she will end up in a high-risk pregnancy. JMO.

I guess she will do what probably the majority of moms did prior to this newer generation--do it on her own. SMH. Many women have done it and still do it. 
I guess these kinds of stories are going the way of: "when I was your age I walked ________ miles to school in the dead of winter with no shoes, hat, scarf or coat and I turned out fine". 
If this is indeed, her life, basically on her own with a featuring role by this man, then I am glad she made the choice she did. He does not sound like a good choice for marriage. However, I did not realize she is so addicted to her SM image. There could be plenty of issues with her that keep her from being married. JMOAA

My hubby and I lived together for five years before marriage and only married so I could get dental insurance. And I did want marriage when I was younger. In my case I was divorced, so that could make it different. I didn't want to take hubby #2's name and just didn't need a piece of paper to tell me he loved me. With our long term commitment the marriage has been little change for us. I got a simple ring for the marriage (I don't like big rings for me) but always admire and gush over other women's. So this snap could be sadness or just being sweet to a friend. 

As for Justin, isn't he on the snowboard circuit? And Jillian need Vancouver for her show? Perhaps they are saving marriage for when they can be together full time. His career at least does have an expiration date. 

As for the child, Jillian can afford nannies and will be fine. This is no different than most military couples. So I ask is that too stressful, should only people who have two married people living together have kids? If so then what happens with divorce or death? I think Jillian's baby will be well cared for. All JMO.

Justin isn't a snowboarder anymore. He owns some kind of boat related business. Can't remember if it's like tours or constructing boats or something else.
