MONDAY, AUG. 26
8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT – The Bachelorette: “2108” (2108)
Logline: Jenn and her final three men arrive in Hawaii for a week of dates across land, sea and sky. Amid the pressure of looming overnight dates, some men grapple with fears of commitment and rejection, leading them to question their futures with Jenn.
Extended Logline: As her journey to find love comes to a close, Jenn and her final three men arrive in Hawaii for an action-packed week of dates across land, sea and sky. Jenn takes one man on a breathtaking helicopter tour, embarks on a thrilling jeep adventure with another, and concludes the week with an adventurous boat ride and manta ray swim alongside her final suitor. Amid the excitement and pressure of looming overnight dates, some men grapple with fears of commitment and rejection, leading them to question their futures with Jenn.

The three men vying for Jenn’s heart are the following:
Devin, 28, a freight company owner from Houston, Texas
Jonathon, 27, a creative director from Los Angeles, Calif.
Marcus, 32, an Army Ranger veteran from Raleigh, N.C.

Devin is the guy Jenn thinks she should want but isn't the one that she wants.

I hate when they start the episode somewhere in the middle.

We are starting with Devin very upset that he is one of many. Tptb really must have done a number on him. He goes to her room...and we are back to the start of the episode in Hawaii.

Jenn arrives and does a bit of a recap. She told each of them she is falling for them and Molly arrives for a chat.

Molly says this is the most important week because this is the week you get so much alone time with them and really get discuss the deeper issues. Jenn is as ready as she can be to move to the next step and feels so strongly about these guys that she is sure one of them will be her husband. Yickes!

Molly says that she and Jason really liked Jonathan. He was speaking to her and not worried about the other guys during the radio date. Jenn mentions the slow word with him and worries he is having difficulty to opening up and too much in his head. Molly thinks he probably needs to relax.

Marcus was one she saw a future with early on. He is reliable, stable, but again takes a long time for him to trust. She feels she has been putting in a lot more effort in the relationship. She needs him to be able to envision them at the end of this.

Devin is playing golf with Jesse. He says it's bothering him Jenn hasn't told him ILY yet after he told her.

Jenn talks about Devin and how he just gets her. She has never had that before. He told her ILY and she isn't there yet, but every time she sees him, she falls harder for him. She thinks the only obstacle with him is her. He says all the right things, but she finds it hard to accept good things happening to her. Is it too good to be true? Molly tells her she deserves good things and just needs to ask the hard questions about what life would be like.

Molly is so nice. She was so kind and helpful with Jenn. I wish we saw her more often.

Why was Molly there?!? I like her but why did they bother taking her to Hawaii??

Devin is up first...just so he can stew the most waiting for the other dates. Was his date the first one?

They are flying in a helicopter to some picnic. They see a rainbow. He makes her feel loved. She needs to allow herself to be loved. They land by a waterfall with their champagne. Meanwhile, he feels it in his bones that he is the guy for her. They are kissing, he is kissing her hands and she is biting his shoulder. Cute and sexy.

Devin is looking forward to a normal life. He wants to buy a house and raise some kids. He never had that and for him the normal stuff is the stuff that is the most important. She says that she knows he is a good thing and she has a hard time accepting that. He wants to hear the big ILY back and even though she is reassuring him, he needs more. This is their obstacle. Interesting to see what it will be with the others.

She is excited and scared at the same time about the fact that Devin said ILY. She isn't there yet, but she gets more excited each time she sees him. He is getting more insecure.

Devin asks her what she means by too good to be true and she talks about self sabotage. Again a really good conversation. They are very open. She tells him she can't tell him how much he means to her...all smiles and blushing. She looks so pretty and happy and he looks more reassured...for now.

Out comes the FS card. They are both game and off they go with the magical key for a magical night. He is really looking forward to a family. He is not going to leave anything on the table. I hope he doesn't get hurt.

Gads .. I wish Jonathan would just outright kiss the girl instead of all these pecks between them!!

I think Devin had the best date. Was it really first? And they gave him the most air time by a long shot

I'm just at Devin's date but feel like he's getting the f1 edit. We see him vulnerable and upset that she hasn't said she's in love with him and it looks like the part shown when they started the episode is from later, maybe the LCD day? They're definitely showing his doubt and worry that he's going to be hurt. His date is first either because it was planned that way or they want to have us forget how it went by the end of the show. Another classic way of hiding the f1.

It's disturbing to me that Jenn doesn't feel like she's deserving of love and I hope that she can get through this if Devin is the one for her.

I'm sure we'll see Jenn all upset because Marcus isn't letting himself show his feelings. It's not unusual for the lead to be worried about that even if the person isn't their final pick. It's also possible that her brother will tell her things he'd heard about Marcus in the next episode so she gets her heart broken but I hope that's not how it plays out.

Well both Jenn and Devin seem pretty happy after the overnight. They are really playing up his insecurities all of a sudden. To me that feels so like the F1 who they make very insecure.

Next up is Jonathan and he seems pretty confident. They go to some markets and she makes him eat sweets. Apparently his diet does not allow that. I would dump him just for that. In restaurants I ask for the dessert menu first and work my way back!

Another picnic and another waterfall. Hawaii is so beautiful. I want to go back. Wait I think I was at that waterfall.

This date seems more standard and Jenn seems to be going through the motions. I can feel her being the Bette here more than herself.

Evening portion and they do open up. She was the only Vietnamese person in her town and she really wanted to be like everyone else and fit in. It took her a long time to accept her culture and herself. She hopes she can help her children accept themselves. Jonathan has always felt comfortable with his mixed race. He is comfortable in his skin and would embrace their kids with all their differences. He is nice and this feels much more authentic.

Off they go to the FS and we get the usual champagne and rolling around on the bed. They seem to have a cabin by another waterfalls where they go to drink their morning champagne and OJ. Very nice. He seems comfortable and talks of being ready to propose.

Meanwhile, Devin is unravelling back at the hotel. He knows their FS went great, but he left feeling less like himself than when he went in. He is giving more than what he is getting back and has been the safe bet in past relationships. OMG. Please don't make this guy feel life he is the default choice.

Jonathan's date was fun and I really like him, just not for Jenn. I will say she lights up around him but I think it's more a friends vibe with them. Fyi, the guys I'd have kept for my f3 would probably have been Jonathan, Jahaan, and probably Grant.

Well, I stand corrected. I was quite surprised to hear Jenn saying that she's "in love" with Marcus. I wish he didn't have the allegations because I could see why she'd fall for him as he is charming. I still think he has red flags just from his past, though. I also hope that Devin isn't made out to be a fall back choice. I know it worked out for Des and Chris but not all guys could take that. I'm really not looking forward to how all of this plays out. It's such a mess!

One comment that I caught was her saying something about there being many kinds of love to Marcus

I do think there is a sobering by Jenn when her brother talks to her .. gives gives vs takes takes .. relating to Marcus .. her history wakes her up and she realizes that Devin’s the giver and she has been a taker .. but she doesn’t want to be that person any more
