Didn't Brad buy her a nice pair of shoes as a "i'm sorry" once? Heck Christmas was just a little over a month ago. Maybe Ricki's Aunt got it for her or Mrs Hendrick. why all this assuming she got it herself ? this is the same person that loves to shop at Target and forever 21.

Someone who buys a purse that costs that much (if she bought it, that is) obviously has nothing better to spend their money on at that point. If I was successful, and had earned it, I'm sure I could be tempted as well (I must admit to a soft spot for DB9's)...

I agree with you all. Emily has never been shy about her money. Lives in a beautiful house, drives an expensive car, and wears very expensive makeup. SO if she has the money, why not buy it no matter where it came from (as long as it is not illegal, as Fascinator11 said) And I agree with Draven31, Em loves her Forever21 and Targets!

The car thing is funny.. Mr Hendrick owns several car dealerships. She could be driving one at cost or even a loaner. Car dealers do it all the time. My daughter had a friend in high school whose Dad owned a huge Chevy dealership in Austin. She always had a shiny new sports car or suv to drive. Unfortunately it was sometimes due to wrecks on her part but she never had one car for too long.

Not to mention the fact that the Hendrick's donate a lot of money to Charity & She spends a lot of time volunteering. It isn't like she doesn't give back to the less fortunate. If I had the money I'd do it. All of her clothes aren't expensive so it isn't like she is constantly spending money on high priced items(Especially since a lot of clothes that she does have, she's had for years). Maybe this was her one splurge for the year(or maybe even a birthday present to herself since her birthday is next week)?

I completely agree!

A lot of the women who go on the show are well-off, wearing very expensive shoes and dresses throughout the whole season. I get people thinking she's a hypocrite about the publicity (especially since now the money TPTB are giving her seems like a joke), but she's never complained about not having enough money.
