I thought the filming was happening in Vancouver. THat is what the Vancouver Sun is saying??

Vancouver-based Force Four Entertainment is the production company behind The Bachelor Canada, the Canadian version of the U.S. reality romance series, set to start filming nine episodes this April and to air next fall on Citytv.

Vancouver-based supervising producer Sean De Vries says they're scouting for a main filming location in Vancouver, and like the U.S. original, the show will involve travel for its title guy and the women vying for his affections."

Jillian Harris to host Bachelor Canada?

Executive producer John Ritchie of Vancouver’s Force Four Entertainment said the casting process is in the early stages. The casting director only started on Monday and producers still need to meet with the network about casting, he said. Still, producers certainly haven’t ruled Harris out.



The show begins shooting in May in British Columbia.

Here is an exerpt that I think we should never forget in watching this show.

A producer for the show, who was quoted in Friday's Globe and Mail's article about the show says that they want "crazy... They’re looking for just crazy enough for good TV. They don’t want axe murderer crazy but they want ... trampy crazy, insecure crazy, bossy crazy. Father issue/mother issue crazy. Fame crazy.” So, there's that.

I heard a blurb on tv yesterday or day before that Jill is considering hosting. It was actually Jill saying it.
